Peace out and
EE
That's a dumb explanation! lol. No offense.
Seriously though- you don't think with the awesome CG capabilities of KH graphics, they couldn't do wrinkles? lol. Of course they could. Look at Kairi's grandma in Hollow Bastion. She's wrinkled enough. Geppetto's really old with wrinkles around his eyes. So is King Triton. They can do lots of stuff with KH graphics, dude.
It's just- notice how they made Tidus and Wakka younger? And how they made Squall older- like 25- when Selphie's only like 13? Not to mention the fact that Nomura combined Cloud and Vincent into one design. Nomura is just putting twists to his old classic FF character designs. They don't have to be chronologically accurate at all. Kingdom Hearts is a seperate story all in itself from anything in either the FF or Disney universes.
I noticed that too Blade I thought was weird.
This is an interview with Shinji Hashimoto I saw on IGN in March I think it gives some useful info so yeah here.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Games Industry: What are the major changes we can expect to see in the new Kingdom Hearts game?
Shinji Hashimoto: One of the big changes you'll see when you play the game is to the camera - we've changed how that works. Also, the levels now have more events in them, with mini-games and so on. We're basically keeping the same concept and everything, but the changes are to the system of the game - we've made a massive block of changes that you will see.
GI: After the success of the first game, do you think Disney trust you more with their characters and worlds now in the second game?
Shinji: We definitely feel a new sense of trust from the Disney side. Based on that trust, we can make new developments - the kind of drastic changes, new discoveries and surprises that we couldn't before. So yes, look out for that!
GI: Kingdom Hearts 2 looks like it is a lot darker and more adventurous with its story and characters than the first game - is it aimed at a slightly older audience?
Shinji: We're still keeping a sort of balance, so that younger audiences can enjoy it as well. Certainly, at the top end, you'll see some serious scenes and so on - but that's not the main part. So, for example, even if the player is really young and doesn't understand the serious parts, they can still enjoy it - we've kept that sort of playful element in the game. There's some crossover with how Disney approaches things [to make their films appeal to all ages], of course, but we make the details quite different. We add more mysteries and so on, which appeal more to an older audience, maybe.

(spoliers) Well the threads not dead for now but anyway I really hope that helps some of you. Also theres this world said to be in KH2 called "Deep Dive" which is in a video at the end of KH: Final Mix and affects KH2 immensely. How? Not sure. Yet... We do know that within this world has 5 members of the Organization. Also we've seen the Blonde Haired kid, (which I would like to say again according to Ansem Report XII or XIII (its been awhile okay :p) there is another you out in the world somewhere and others mistake this kid for Sora don't they? (at least thats what I heard) and I've seen him with friends like Kairi and Riku in split-second glances in a trailer and its said he has two Disney characters of his own and he has his own Keyblade so I very well believe this kid is Sora's "other" and maybe the kids Disney pals could be Donald's and Goofy's "other") is fighting a group of Neo Heartless here in addition to Riku and King Mickey assisting. Those 3 are in Deep Dive searching for Sora or await his arrival. Following on, the other two memebers of the Organization on the beach saying that one of them looks like someone else I assume this is Sora. Also we know Sora is in Deep Dive because he's seen on the same beach as those 2 members of the Organization. Also Destiny Island is to be in KH2 (I don't know if it was said in this thread earlier I forget :P) I believe you can go to the other islands where there are houses because you can see Kairi by houses and you could travel there maybe...Also Halloween Town is returning if that wasn't said before too :p
Also the voice actors for the characters. I most of these are already known probably but just so you know that nad that the originals are still doing their part.
* means unconfirmed
Haley Joel Osmont-Sora
Tony Anselmo*- Donald
Bill Farmer*- Goofy
Wayne Allwine*- Mickey
David Gallagher-Riku
Jim Cummings*- Pete
Matt McKenzie*- Auron (also Auron in FFX I hope he does voice this Auron too)
Molly Keck*- Selphie
David Boreanaz-Leon
Also some new abilites
Mawarikomu (turn behind the enemy for a sneaky attack)
Wall Kick (jump on the wall to stay in the air longer)
Safe Landing (Land Safely when hit in mid-air)
Full Swing (no description)
Teleport (no description)
Air Juggle (no descriotion)
Gummi Ship by the way is still there but its "more of an attraction or a ride" but its assumed there are some optional gummi shiop missions. There is a train station in Twilight Town. i also found a poem this means something but what?
Walking this road,
Without you,
To Remake forgotten promises and meet you at road's end.
Faded Memories,
Reconstructed Memories,
A dream-a dream of you,
In a world without you.
The dream I see in a world without you,
To dream, like a memory from the far past,
I'd like to put it together,
With you...
What the hell does this mean? Is it even real or is it a lie from someone? We'll have to find out won't we?
Wow, that's quite a bit. Most of the voice actors seem unconfirmed, though.
At least they're aiming it a bit for the older audiences. But what they said, it's probably going to be E rated, again. Oh well, it was still an intresting read.
Bad things are afoot...there saying no KH2 till 2006. In an interview with Yoichi Wada on Square's plans for 2005/2006 it lead to the discussion of the timeframe KH2 will be released in. He was vague on comments on the exact releases of FFXII and KH2 but he said that they're Japanese translations are to be released this year and into the next so translating it ot English will be longer and longer of the UK sorry guys.
From what I read, they weren't comepletely sure if FFXII will be realised this year or KH2, but it will be one of them.
Either way, we probably won't see any of the two 'till next year, at least. I wish they would quit pushing the dates back.
I want it to come out too but I say they should take all the time they need. I want this game to be an improvement if not a big one over the first. So if they need more time. Then I'll wait.
The reason they keep pushing the KHII date back is because they want to release FFXII first, not because they want to keep making those improvements.
Oh okay....
(SPOILER)I think Mickey's a member of the Organization. I've seen them in their uniforms. These might be obvious not that I think about it...
Play Chain of Memories then this poem will make much more senseQuote:
