Oh you lazy members. :) RSL, if everyone had your thought there wouldn't be any names nominated at all and no one to vote for. :)

You all come here on a regular enough basis to have a general idea to nominate for some of the categories. Like the rules state, you don't have to nominate someone for everything.

Since it's not voting, and as you said, there are so many members, you should find it very, very easy to pick someone who deserves a nomination, if anything. Pick one funny member - nominate them for funniest. See? Easy. It's not final voting, it's just giving the opportunity to people to get to the final voting. You don't have to pick the absoloute best, just someone who you think fits. With thousands of members, that should be EASY. :D

People who say "I would have nominated but since someone asked me to, I won't" have an awful excuse. It's sad to see that when people take the time to consider reminding you, you throw it in their faces. They would have spent more time reminding you than you would have spent reading the PM. Feel lucky they even thought of you. And where's the harm in a reminder? Some people honestly don't remember to do this until they get a PM. I'd feel glad that the people actually thought of me in particular, out of those thousands of people. They're just trying to help.

C'mon. Get involved in the fun. :) That's all we want you to do.

Well, by cheese, I'm just glad the period to nominate was extended, since I could not access the site for days. I wanted to do it Friday, but then there was the server downtime and all...

Now I only need to find where I put my notes... :mad:

I actually started to nominate about a week ago. I got about 5 awards down and got frustrated.

I guess I'll give it a shot again. However, I'm not promising anything. I might just get frustrated again.

Interesting. I didn't realize that I won two ciddies in the first ever Ciddies. Most pessimistic and most likely to be arrested. I think that reflects how my online personality was different back in the day.

I'm still working on this nomination thing. I think I've got about seven of them now. This is tough. Best regular is too limited. Thinking of someone who joined between certain dates not very far apart, yikes.

I think if I got ten PMs telling me to nominate I would refuse out of spite as well. One or two PMs would be nice, but a whole lot is just harrassment.

RSL, just nominate yourself for every category.

If only I could.
