Until I hear something from Highly Accurate sources I won't believe any of these bonus characters.

I, however, wish for them to include Sephiroth as a pc, simpley so I can send him in to fight Kefka one on one and get his @$$ kicked.

I'd guess so. I've never hacked anyone into my party before in FFVI, but none of them are in the normal game, and not in the Advance version (read one of my previous posts for why the rumor is debunked).

Just for the record, while I've only played the first 30 minutes of the new release so far (I'm @ work, so I'll be playing it more tonight, though), the first thing I did was check the Master Guide book that just came out for the GBA release.

That's just the prompt for selecting whether you want the kanji in the game's text to be simplified into hiragana. You know, for the kids. All the GBA ports have had it.
