On the second screen, where you can choose to play; it should look like this

Battle.net
Gateway: Asia
Other Multiplayer
Click on the small box that says Gateway, and it should prompt you to change if you desire. Switch it to USEast. Since this is your first time, you may have to create a new Account for the USEast server. When creating a character, make sure the boxes "Expansion Character" and "Ladder Only" are selected. If "Hardcore" appears (which I doubt), then make sure it is NOT clicked.

I know that, but its not letting me connect to USEast. It just says it failed. But I can go onto Asia.

I will be playing tommorow and Tuesday, most likely in the morning or late at night.
I may or may not start a new character.
Hopefully some of you will be there.

How many people have gotten up to the Hell difficulty? I just recently started.

I have a Barbarian in Hell, and my Amazon is level 75 (just need to kill Baal).
Khaotic is in Hell with half of his characters (pretty much 5 of them).
Mulley, Giga Guess, Maxx Power (who stopped due to technical difficulties), and BtV are not in Hell.
KH-Cloudy and Nominus Experse are both in Hell with at least one character, I'm fairly sure.

I played some this afternoon but I didn't see anyone online. My Necro is in the middle of Act 5 in Nightmare now.

I just started hell, and these lightning immunes are kicking my ass. I could do it by myself if I could make an Invincible for my merc, but Ber runes are hard to come by, let alone two. I will probably be playing later today.
Edit: I just made KHCloudy lose his stuff. Three groups of archers killed us like 10 times and he just decided to kill Andy and get new stuff. Guess I'm not quite ready for Hell yet. I will be item hunting to regain some money (I had 57 left over after I sold a bunch of stuff to get my merc back), and I will save stuff for you.

OMG a friggin' Lidless.
And you gave it away!? That's quite possibly the best Spellcaster Shield in the game; I would've used it on the Necro!

I have a +2 to all necro skills shield (head) right now, and that's much more valuable to a summoner than the lidless.
