Ahhhh yes my school payment is finally sorting itself out so that is one less stress! Now we just need to see about payment options because the financial aid only paid a bit more than half and we have books and stuff, but if they can work with us, everything will be all set for school!

Ever think of the jerk hole?
So today is the first day Danny is insured on my car since passing his test in Feb! This excites me because it means I won't have to drive everywhere and I can sit back and relax whilst he drives us around! Not to mention I now have a ride to the hospital when I go into labour! Bonus!
With all this new found free time, my apartment has been 180'd. I fixed the Electrical on the lights in the kitchen, re wired the bathroom fan, Did a smurf load of cleaning, its starting to feel like a nice place to live again, not just a dump that I come home and fall asleep to wake up to go to work!
Had my first video call with my gurlfren this night (counts as today! and it wasn't night yet for her anyway), it made me pretty happy :3

I just finished my final letter to the HR department on why I left the company, I outlined why I left, I outlined why I wont come back easily, and gave my thoughts on why I think they are in for dark times. It felt great to say these things without having the worry of getting fired, or suspended as that was why no one would speak up before. Since I left I found out that most of the staff contacted HR wondering why they would let me go so easy, and they also said screw it we need to speak up now that he isn't there to protect us from the tyrant. It felt good to know how much support I had from them all the last little while. I also got a call from clients who asked where I was going to go as they wish to now change to follow me in my endeavors. Today I feel truly blessed

We went to Manhattan last night with P for a good bit and walked around. The sun was coming up when we got home :3
I felt like trout all day today though and was throwing up.
My friends came over and grilled out for us and played with P while I laid in bed with my trash can ralphing up my insides.

I'm not throwing up anymore, but I still feel like garbage. Every time I've gotten up to do stuff like fix lunch, I've started feeling bad again.
My bf took my daughter down to the beach for me though, since I promised her yesterday we would go. Him's so sweet <3 ... And he cleaned the kitchen for me yesterday and he's gonna fix dinner tonight for us. We're gonna try and get P to try Filipino food :D ... Chicken Adobo specifically. She likes soy sauce with her steak when she goes out to eat at a hibachi place, so maybe she'll like this.
EDIT: I'm making tacos de carne asada tomors since we have our friend's grill on the patio. I'm stoked.
Went out yesterday with my sister and met a bunch of new people who were lovely. I made friends with a wonderful French girl who looked just like Marion Cotillard and she was wonderful. She struggled through broken English but we got on just fine and talked all night about the differences between France and America and the people who inhabit our countries and about our traveling experiences.
She's here for three months working in a WWOOF program and is traveling to Eugene, Oregon today, but we exchanged email addresses and I hope to see her again one day when I go back to France!
I also indulged all night with some fantastic gin cocktails. I am absolutely loving lavender lemon gin martinis :love:
Finding out that I have the last week of the month off work! Didn't even realise I had the week off booked ^^
I'm happy that I finally got to finish that picture I've been putting off for couple months now. Most of the time was procrastination on the line art, but once I had that done, all I had to do was color and detailing. Today, I finished that. So I'm super happy and proud about this!

I'm so proud of her openness to try new foods this Summer! I made her a basic lemony risotto for dinner recently and she loved it! Along with my bf's chicken adobo (she didn't like the white rice with it, tho) and cilantro. Yep. My child likes cilantro By itself. I'm so proud XD

Hubby came home from work a couple of nights ago and said that he was approached by one of his managers and they asked if he's happy where he's at (he's a supervisor, not quite management but he is in charge of making sure everyone does their jobs right and he's the main maintenance man) and he said no, and that if he has no chance of advancement soon he is not going to be able to stay any longer term than what he already has (going on 10 years). They said he has potential and that they will look into having him shadow a manager soon. He's been told before that they'd like for him to become a manager, it just hasn't happened yet.
I really hope this happens soon because more money = ability to pay overdue bills (y)

Got a call about setting up an interview at a place I don't even remember applying. I'm not sure happy is the right word because the way I've been feeling lately makes it hard to do a complete 180, but it's good news I suppose. It's at an auto parts store I guess so it may even be easier on my body than working in a shop all day.
We just adopted a small Plott Hound named Norman because our other dog Mandy has been depressed ever since her buddy Max died. It's day one and they're already playing. Mandy got so excited her scampering claws almost tore up my bare feet. I got the heck out of there!
Even the cats don't seem to mind Norman. Not once did they hiss or puff their tails. And Norman was already tested with cats before we brought him home, and he doesn't seem to mind ours either. Basically, today was good. But watching Norman and Mandy play (especially Mandy because she gets so bloody spastic and wacko) pretty much made my day!

Been feeling so down lately and missing Pheesh the last few days - even this morning I'd had a horrible dream so wasn't feeling good. Went to see my little cousin and spent the whole day with her, and oh my god she just lights anyone up. We met the Gruffalo in the forest and had a big walk, a picnic, a quick stop at the ice cream van... Then we went back home and she demanded "Tara. No. Stay. Bed" (Tara you have to stay until I've gone to bed!) so we watched Despicable Me, and then I showed her How To Train Your Dragon! (I mean, of course!) and she loved it. She now has added ASSST (Astrid) and Draaang (dragon) to her vocabulary.
THEN we played in the ball pit with Elsa and Anna, drove Peppa Pig around the bedroom in her car, read some more books....
THEN she had a bath and we played with all the bath toys and bubbles, and some special kiddy soap from Lush which you can paint the bath with and yeah - is soap! Wow xD. Bloody nora, a long day I tell ya! Tomorrow my aunt is dropping me off for a job interview at the shopping mall so afterwards we're taking her to the build a bear workshop where she can build her own Minion plushie... n.n spoilt rotten that kiddo.

I enjoy my job. Granted, it's not something I want to do forever by any means, but while in this troutty situation it makes things a lot easier not having to go to a troutty job I hate. I actually really like it and feel like I'm making a difference and learning some new skills. Plus, my co-workers are both really nice. Things could be a lot worse on this front, so I'm super grateful for my boss for being so enthusiastic about me.
Alongside all the other crap we've got going on, it turns out we need to pay quite a lot more to get our kitchen installed. Normally this would go in the rant thread but MissH's response just made me laugh so much!
"I don't want a smurfing house anymore. I want to go on lots of holidays and go to fancy restaurants. I WANT A STEAM MOP!"

Wasn't really today but I decided a few days ago, and after discussing it with my parents, I'm going to be moving back home for the foreseeable future. I'm planning to get some sort of job and put all of the money I can into building guitars and possibly drums and make a strong effort to get a small business off the ground. I have some ideas I think will really make me stand out and give me a shot, so I'm going for it. I'm tired of working for other people and having absolutely no stability in my life. So if I'm going to be constantly struggling with the latter I'm going to do everything I can to get the hell away from the former.

Sometimes, my grammar sucks. Even when I know the rules, I often times forget or ignore them when typing online. NO LONGER, I SAY. I got a chrome extension that checks my grammar. I just have the free version for now, but it has helped correct things I overlooked or cared little about in my casual posting.

one of my students today asked "what does 'fireplace' mean?" and before I could say anything, another student seemed as if she was going to try and tell her, so I let her try to get it out, and after a few seconds of attempted physical mime she said "it's the place where Santa Claus comes into your house!!". I died horrendously and it made me extremely happy, best explanation ever.
I'm about 15-ish lbs away from the start of a thigh gap.
Got paid for Pol today. Our friend Lester treated us to lunch at a really lovely Filipino restaurant. We ordered soooo much food! Lumpia, ummm the Filipino version of ceviche (I forget what it's called), bistek, some type of fried chicken, lechon (pork), a soup that came in a huge bowl and 3 smaller bowls for sharing, and I tried halo-halo!!
I guess it's an aquired taste, though, because I didn't love it. I mean, it wasn't the worst thing in the world, but it was definitely weird to me.
Oh and I had a couple of Red Horse beers!
And now we're drinking some beer, waiting on our X Large pizza and 2 dozen wings we just ordered.... And playing XIV.
All in all, it's a good day. :D

Weird ass thing on my foot is seemingly getting better and also wrapped a project I was working on this week with a woman who looks like Alicia Keys. Also I turned in to Spider Woman.
Oh goodness. I was a bit upset because I got 80% on an in class psychology assignment. It was 5 questions, each worth 2 points each, and I got 4/5 right, so it brought me down to a B. Well TODAY she gave us a chance to make two extra points. We had to work in groups of 4 and answer about 10 questions. The first team to get all of the questions right would get the bonus points.
So I answered about 7-8 of the questions. There was a guy in my team who got the others since I wasn't positive (and the other two didn't do anything, but whatever) and I answered the questions super fast and I also corrected my other working partner when he almost made two mistakes.
I am so happy because I was feeling so crappy about myself, especially since what the questions were on was based on a section I've been struggling with when studying. So not only did I carry the team and carry them through a section I was worried about, I did it lightning fast. And now I'm at 100% in psychology! I also got my first writing assignment graded in my Human Services class and I got a 95%!
I am very happy and this is a nice little mood booster when I was starting to feel like poo about myself.
I recently put in an application to get a tattoo from this really amazing tattoo artist in Europe. The way he works is that he's so booked up that you just have to send an email with your tattoo idea and if he likes it then he will do it, and if he doesn't then you won't hear anything back, not even an email to say that they don't like it. Anyway, I sent him my tattoo idea and hadn't heard anything back for almost 2 weeks so I was really bummed out, as that specific tattoo is the only one I've ever wanted from him.
But finally today I got an email back saying that he likes my idea and wants to do it! The good and bad news is that they told me I'll be on a waiting list for anywhere up to 3 years. Bad because I want it now, but good because he's based so far away and the tattoo is ridiculously expensive, so that will give me time to start saving up and organising the trip.

I'm not sure if you looked at the link, but I've literally never seen another person who does watercolour tattoos even comparably to what Ondrash does, and I don't mean just near me, I mean in the whole world. I don't have tattoos at the moment, and it's not because I don't want them, it's because if I'm going to put something on me permanently it's going to be perfect. With this guy I have a guarantee that it's going to look exactly how I want it to look and will be something that I love forever.
To me that is worth the extra money and time.
I should be getting a tattoo soon as well and I am very excite :excited: I've been working hard, hopefully I've earned it
