They're either talking about All Star Mode or Boss All Star Mode in today's update.
...no wait, you can't continue in Boss All Star Mode. Never mind.
But apparently you can do Co-op Two Player in all "Solo" Modes except for Classic. :D :D :D :D :D

Why not Classic? I think that'd be the mode I'd most want co-op 2P mode. xP
Classic would be nice, but at least everything else is co-op, right?
Yeah, I suppose. xP Certainly doesn't run the game.
Plus, Adventure Mode Co-Op is pretty epic. Actually, the Adventure Mode is reminding me of Kirby Super Star in a lot of aspects as well. Especially how Player 2 gets back to Player 1 if they are moved off of the stage.
I'm pretty sure the Home-Run Contest has online play. Can the same be said for Break the Targets?

Yeah. I was actually really looking forward to the idea of Co-op Classic Mode. At least All Star Mode and Boss All Star Mode were confirmed to be Two Player on the Brawl Central Forums.
