Sephiroth is an angry man. A very, very angry man. So much so that he decides to play with matches and burn Nibelheim to the ground. Cloud watches on in horror, especially as he sees Sephiroth walking through the fire and flames in a dramatic fashion. He's just showing off, really. Can Cloud rescue Tifa, stop Sephiroth and tell his story to his friends in a cohesive manner? Tall order, Mr Strife, tall order.

Zack got his ass kicked, Sephiroth walks out like a boss, Cloud stabs him in the back, gets stabbed, makes sephiroth fall into the mako, then Zack miraculously wakes up and the tank adventure begins.
Sounds a lot more ridiculous when you write it out.
