This was a week where just about everyone played up. Everyone on my team except Keyshawn Johnson (2 points) and Cooley (8 points - still solid from a TE) was in double-digits. Even my kicker earned me 15 points.
Plaxico also rules. I love my WRs, which is why next week with Moss and Plaxico on bye, I'm in for a tough challenge.
-
I wasn't active in 2002 for the football league, which was points and Del won. Then in 2003 I joined in and won the league. Last year Del defeated me in the championship game to reclaim his title. This year we both suck.
-
Too bad we can't win games on reputation alone. Still, I am having fun, bogus trades aside. I think playing each other on our most crucial bye weeks will really test our managerial skill. I'm looking forward to it.
So much changes in the NFL. Three years ago the Raiders were the best team in the AFC. At least they won today. I can trade a few fantasy wins for Oakland wins.
-
Maybe Ronnie Brown will deliver big for me next week. Tony G hasn't scored a touchdown yet, so losing him to the bye won't really "hurt" I guess.
-
At Buffalo is a tough matchup for Ronnie. But my runners have at Jacksonville and Dallas, so it will be a grinding affair. I really hope David Carr is the difference here, it would make for a nice storyline.
-
Boy, that Rackers kid has some foot. He was splitting the uprights on kickoffs!
Take care all.
-
he certainly didn't do as well in Cincinnati, I recall. :moose:
If you beat me with David Carr, I'll tip my cap.
-
Being at 7000 feet above sea level certainly helps that cause.
I wonder if they ever considered sending him in for a 60-yard field goal?
-
Why just 60? He was kicking field goals from their own 30, which would be roughly an 87 yard FG.
-
I'm no kicker, but I think kicking off of a tee is a little easier than kicking a field goal over a bunch of people with a person holding it. It was still impressive though!
-
Yea, I guess Mexico City is up in the mountains.
-
Yeah, but it's...what, 7000 feet above sea level? Mile High in Denver is 5200 feet, and you don't see 60 yarders being kicked every week. Though as Janikowski is living proof: having the yardage doesn't mean having the accuracy.
-
Seabass has never been short on a kick as far as I can remember. Oakland has plenty of leg.
