FFVII > FFVIII

Reasons :
Better main cast, Better OST, Materia brought alot more stratergy, Didnt have a daft system ( monsters leveling with you ), FFVII had a better story, sure FFVIII's did have a pretty good story but FFVII's brought plot twists and such makiing you want to play more, also FFVII's over all world has more story with all the sequels FFVII is getting.

FFVII had a stinky main cast, materia was a pain in the ass, sucky story that was WAAAY too predictable, and hardly interested me that I had to force myself to play it!!! :kaodizzy: All the Final Fantasy games are all over the world, and FFX was the first FF game to get a sequel so I guess FFVII wasn't the most special then. ;) And lastly, FFVIII DIDN'T need a sequel, it was PERFECT the way it was. :kaolove2:

Cos' I suck under those timer conditions. And the 10 minutes thing in the very, very first section of Disc 1 of FFVII was a total killer (for my characters and my will to continue the game). And my fingers haven't even warmed up during those 10 minutes yet.

1. Stinky main cast? At least they werent rejects who practically from the same damn orphange.

2. Way too predictable? FFVIII was also, as with every other FF! ZOMG, HEROES GO AND FIGHT TEH EVILNEESSS LAWL. *coughs* I'm right.

3.They made a smurf up with that sequel, x-2. It was about Yuna complaining about not having her Tidusy with her :cry: /sarcasm

4.The only reason why FFVIII doesn't get a sequel is because it's not worth it - FFVII still had a lot of stuff to be cleared up - BC is sorting out the whole Turk history, I think, LO was mostly about Zack, AC...let's skip that, that was just fanservice for cloud fans. DC is uncovering more about Vincent Valentine, because his story was very important, and for some God for saken reason, he was made a secret character.
