100% on my psychology test!!!!!!
For a few days this week we've been having screenings at my job for the shows that were produced by the production company I'm at. Both of the shows are amazing including the show I'm working on now. I feel so proud to be working at a company that produces things I actually care about but also starts a discussion and awareness of these things. The show I'm working on wraps soon but I hope to stay here for some time to come because I really enjoy all of their work they're doing and would hate going back to the bottomless black hole that is trashy reality television.
Finally I could watch a few episodes of Digimon (first season, of course)! :D

Long story short I had a pretty terrible week at work last week, but have really made a change to my attitude over the last few days and it paid off when I got a customer feedback survey back that scored 100% and had amazing positive feedback on it :D my first one, I was so chuffed and it makes me love my job that little bit more when I get to see how people are really feeling about my store! :D
About to head home from a mini vacation. My girlfriend surprised me with going on a short trip for my birthday which was yesterday since we had a couple days off work. It's been fun to get away for a couple of days and just do whatever we felt like. Sad I have to go back home now, but its been a fun birthday adventure.
My friend Marek is coming back from Poland soon!
Boyfriend's birthday, going out to a nice dinner! Also, there was a presentation at my college about domestic abuse so I went because yeah. But the Bible study mistook which room they were meeting in and I initially walked in to Bible study. But okay because I got free pizza! But after they moved, we had the presentation and everything and I got the hookup for another volunteer opportunity!

About a month ago I decided I wanted a new challenge. As much as I adore my baby boy, I kinda wanted something just for me. So I joined this beauty company called Younique. They're amazing. They have incredible make-up and beauty products. What's more, there's a real sense of community and sisterhood between all the women. It's so much fun. I get to play with amazing make-up and make loads of new friends who are really supportive.
On a deeper level, Younique pride themselves on uplifting and empowering women to stand of their own 2 feet and start a successful business. In addition, a percentage of each purchase goes towards a retreat for women who were sexually abused as children- how great is that? So you buy amazing, seriously high quality products (and I am a real make-up snob!) and you're helping people.
It just makes me feel so good. New friends, new adventure and all whilst playing and experimenting with make-up!

Anyone who knows me or my family will know how much this picture means to me. We've had one hell of a rubbish year. Almost 1 year since my Dad was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia- "the bad one" as the doctor said, 4 days after I discovered I was pregnant with the Grandson Dad always wanted. After 5 months in hospital, lots of the strongest chemo there is and a life-threatening infection, Dad came home... Only to be told 2 weeks before I gave birth that the leukaemia was back. After being told there was only a 50/50 chance of making it through and the chemo working, Dad started the cycle again and on 4th September had a bone marrow transplant. He came home ahead of schedule with strict instructions to stay away from the baby because of infection. There's still a long way to go-a year recovery after bone marrow transplant with the 'crucial' period taking us through to mid December, but these pictures make me so happy.
Every time a Grandfather holds his Grandson is special, but this moment is a little more so.
If ever there was proof of how strong the human body is- this is it. It shows all you need is love (and a little bit of medicine) ❤️

Supergirl had the biggest world premiere of the year! Go! Go! Go!
There was a beautiful bearded and hazel eyed man that helped fit my glasses today. I had an excuse to stare at him because of the fitting.
I lost 5 lbs in 2 weeks and my waist is down 2-3 inches. I had a junk food filled week last week so I was worried I may have put on some pounds, but I did lose a pound this week :D
So not today, but I couldn't really get on this weekend.
I entered a writing competition with a book proposal. If I win, I will get a multi book deal and an advance. My entry was accepted yesterday and I'll know in a couple weeks if I made the short list.
Applied for an internal position at work (along with 13 others) and managed to get down to the final two candidates. We both have to do a final 90 minute test to see who is most suitable. He has his tomorrow afternoon but I've just been in for mine now.
I've no way of knowing how good the other guy is going to be but I'm happy that I gave a good account of myself. The team manager (interviewer) seemed happy with what I'd done at any rate. Even I don't get it I'm proud that I managed to get to the final two out of fourteen candidates. I'll know either way tomorrow afternoon!
Yesterday I finally found the 30th Anniversary amiibo. Had to travel across town to get it, but worth it.
I just quit my job! Got passed over for yet another promotion which went to someone who was cheaper than me yet less experienced. In fact I trained him to do the job. Don't know what I'm going to do as I am extremely poor and Dee is to sick to work and we have a 7 year old at home, but I get a chance to decide whatever it is I want to do now and not what I think I have to. That makes me happy.
I have a roast beef dinner in the oven, I'm slaying at work, my boy is coming to see me for Christmas next week. I'm alive.

My new make-up business is doing really really well! I'm not surprised because the make-up is amazing!! I love that I don't have to spend hours in Mac trying to look for the perfect mascara or lipstick or anything anymore because I know the stuff I have is the best! I love what it's done for me and my self-confidence too. It's all about stepping outside your comfort zone so I keep trying new things that I would never have done before. Really excited about where this new business could take me!
If anyone needs make-up for yourself or loved ones, you know where to come ;-)
My manager had chosen me to go to a meeting/conference with the reps of a luxury adult product range. I'm so so so excited because they're basically unveiling a brand new toy and I get to see it first and ahhhhhhhhhh I can't wait!!!!!

Chrono Trigger is proving to be my fastest rising video in term of view count. It's now up to 40 only after two days. Got a new subscriber, too.
26 weeks remain (roughly) until I see my love :love:. That's like, the half way point! And with the holiday season being here now I'll be really busy so time should fly.
Exams start soon and I have a 99.55% average right now, which means short of completely bombing my exams, I shouldn't have to worry about failing. I mean I'd like to keep an A average, but it's nice to have a safety net there in case something goes wrong
I found the plugins for my PS3 so now I can hook it up through the DVD player to record game footage. Don't know how worth it it'd be given the lack of HD on my part, but if nothing else I can now record the PS1 games I have downloaded on there.

I watched a rocket make a historic landing after delivering 11 satellites to orbit! In the long list of things that we need to be able to do to put humans on Mars, this was a really important box to tick.
I'm pretty happy today. Its been a productive morning.
I'm quite active on Linkedin due to my last employer being within eCommerce, and I have alot of contacts here in Manchester and the Group Director of IT of one of the leading UK retailers viewed my profile (who I know personally, my last company sponser him when he does conferences) so I asked him if he'd recommend I work with them; he agreed to my CV this morning and he would "take it from there".

Ordered some wood on eBay for making some things, all of it from the same person. After sending a message asking about combined shipping I saw their location and they're literally on the other side of town. Going to see if I can just pick it up and maybe see other stuff they have because holy trout do they seem to have access to some crazy nice lumber.
Bought travel insurance for the summer trip, was way less than I expected
Also a couple of old clients (as in dogs) from my old job walked in the door today, talk about a total surprise! They have a new temporary parent because their old owner passed away a few months back (sadly, she was a great client to have!), and they're still looking for a forever home. But I'm really happy to see these two again! I'll edit in a picture if them later when I get home.
I have received some wonderfully generous gifts from friends, and I feel very fortunate to know such kind people.
I have also been very productive today. I stopped for the holidays and to unwind from school, but today I got my 2016 agenda prepped, started a savings plan, wrote up a weekly menu, cleared the Christmas clutter, wrote up a grocery list, did half of my cleaning, had some relax time, and it isn't even noon yet!
Made another deadline. In the four years I've been doing reviews I only missed deadlines three times. One I can't remember the reason for, the second was due to getting caught up in other commitments, and the third only came about due to technical issues. So I'm pretty proud of that track record.
Quit a troutty job that was making me physically and mentally ill
Had another productive day! Brownies are baking, stew is... stewing. Washed the dishes, did the laundry (including the cat bed), cleaned the counters, put away our Christmas gifts. It's nice to get things done that have been piling up
Finally! I bought a phone charger today. It works perfectly! :love:
However, I still have to buy earphones and deck boxes... :ohdear:

So seeing as it was dark and there was no-one around, I waved like a maniac at this imaginary man in this imaginary compound during an imaginary zombie apocalypse. Only, I hadn't spotted a woman walking her two dogs coming out from a shaded tree. By the amount she was staring at me I could tell she was very close to waving back whilst simultaneously trying to work out who the hell I was.
Being a seasoned zombie runner, I just ignored her and carried on like a pro. I'm not compromising my imaginary friends.

Today I learned that the professor of the subject of the test I'm currently learning for uses some perfectly cromulent words in his lecture. Apparently delocalization means the loss of the local signance of information. And stuff.

My tax refund. It makes me happy. I'm just waiting on it now. It allows me to actually have a lot more wiggle room with my budget and gets me a boost on my track to saving up! I'm super excited about this because thanks to cruddy working conditions we were down to being pay check to pay check. If I get lots of savings then if BF does lose his job here in the next month we'll be okay for a little bit while he finds another. It's a relief and makes me happy when I figured my budget today. Finances are stressful lol
Got 87 WPM on my typing test (highest in the class, only need 35 to graduate) and scored tickets to an At the Drive-In show that sold out in seconds.

Final fantasy XV news! Sooo exciting
Despite the fact that I am under a lot of stress, I feel really, really happy.
Coming back here after years of inactivity, and took my dog to the park today where I got to watch him be a cutie patootie wrestling everyone.
I found someone who wants to go on the 16 hr drive with me Tuesday. That is great since I really didn't want to do it alone.
Took a me day yesterday to recharge and today I'm energized and hitting up the job search again. Hire me, god damnit, I'm a nifty guy.
Pheesh is reading our old VM conversation from when I joined and before we started dating. I told him back then that I was planning on doing a gap year after uni to Aus which is what sort of made us closer and then get together.
I just now told him that was a lie, and I had never planned a gap year until I met and fancied him mwahahahah. Think it's kind of cute - back then was probably psycho though.
Played Jenga for the first time, had my "energy drink" and now snacking on some no bake cookies. Life is good!!
IPAs given free food from my fav food place! It was so nummy!
I got lots of writing done today.
We have to do a lot of self-inventories for my course and today I got to see what theory I line up with most in my helping professions approach. I ended up getting cognitive-behavioral by a landslide, specifically Cognitive-Reality Behavioral Therapy and Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy.
Afterwards I got Existential-Humanistic and Psychodynamic pretty close together and Postmodern had a pretty low score
It was fun learning that, I was not expecting that result until I was doing the quiz
Just finished my 14 hour drive for my move. In my new place and it's 20c warmer here. Also already have a lead on a new job.

Just figured out how to get my playthrough pictures to post! It really took me forever to figure out due to size restrictions! Plus I started replaying one of my favorite JRPG's Breath of Fire II today!
I went to the job centre today and it really wasn't at all as bad as I hoped. My job counselor is really nice and she said I'm too clever to be there, and I'll be signing off so quickly! :)
Night Fury brought me a bag of treats from the shops today. Including a delicious pizza I'm currently eating, a profiterole sundae and some cherry coke. It made my heart swell!
Had some great moral discussions in class today and while everyone may have had differing opinions, everyone was respectful.
Except one lady who kept shaking her head and trying to interrupt. She needs to practice her open-mindedness. Other than that it was really fun though and it's important to do stuff like that in this field, I think
I've been listening to the Dune Audiobook on my way to work. I wanted to maybe change my set to a super adorable sandworm. Turns out people don't think they're adorable and I can't find any art.

Got a job after less than a week and a half of being unemployed! Feeling a huge burst of motivation to do stuff around the house and do some more work for my brand. Planning to get on the treadmill later today and not super hating the thought of it. Had a really good night last night and really pleased with the immediate future.
Taking a day off today. Even though I have stuff to do, I am high stress and just need to relax. Slept in late and am waiting a while before I start on things I need to do. Just relax~~

Found a a pair of Jeans that were $160 on for $35.
Also saved $1700 on truck insurance bye making a 5 minute phone call. So far a good day.

First month of school is done and I have 100% in two classes and 99% in the third (because a test score brought me down). I have two tests for the other two classes this week so hopefully I can keep my grades pretty up there. I am happy with my work though and it's nice to get such positive feedback from my professors!
Started my first Let's Play. I don't do this kind of thing normally but it's going Ok, I think!
