No...the answer is an enemy you fight. If you're referring to the riddle I sent to you, that's a different riddle than the one currently on this board.

Aeris has been praying here, and all the jenovas bosses are a bit of jenova curled up...

Right...I already said it's not a boss. Props to gyaku for thinking about the contorted/heightened part, though. Once the new page starts, I'll repost the riddle in its original form. There were actually two more lines, but I was afraid it'd be too easy.

No, neither of those. Check out the latest post by d£v!l'$ ph0£n!x (6:15 am today)...he was on the right track regarding the meaning of the last line. Particularly the word "keeps."

it was because of the contorted heigtened... the only other enemy i can think of that gets all contorted and then heightened is carry armor... and hes a boss

hmm...
i dont know about the guitarist keeps playing but the zombie like monsters in the shinra mansion basement give me th jitters, are in darkness, are surrounded by coffins, and are contorted. i doubt its the right answer but ill give it a shot

EDIT: I wasn't making fun with the "hmm". You got the answer right. I just wanted to see you make that other connection (I assumed it'd be a big "OH!" moment).
Line 1: The Shinra Basement is where Sephiroth discovers [most of] the truth about his past.
Line 2: When Ying/Yang (the creature) is standing up straight, it's really pretty tall.
Line 6: The music for the basement is based on acoustic guitar, and doesn't stop when you fight enemies. It's the only place I know of where that happens, besides the big action scenes.
