No I seen u solve the riddle great thinkin!
Thanks for the support Weimar :D.
Use of the word others wouldn't have anything to do with the other materia in the riddle if you took the riddle as it was. The nouns don't actually exist, they are merely clues as to the answer in the riddle. Even if they were meant to be taken as existing, they don't actually match the actions that they are said to, and therefore couldn't really be taken as materia.
Anyway I'm only defending that point because it's been brought up, that wasn't one of my more planned out riddles if I remember. Good luck with wording your riddle though Skyblade ;) :D.
Aw, how kind of you. ;) Thanks, Phoenix. But we still have to wait for Halenite to tell me if I'm right. With luck, I'll be wrong, so I won't have to make a new riddle. I'm not very good at writing riddles. Give me a week, and I might have one for you, but probably not before that. I just like guessing them.
It was too obvious to NOT get wrong.
Your up skyblade.
Damn. Ok, I'm thinking. If anyone else has one, they can go ahead. I'll try to get one as soon as I can, but it probably won't be till next time.
I'll try one. It's fairly easy though
"We walk around saying a chant,
you'll probably think were all starting to rant,
Most will make it, some will be lost
trying to make it our feelings are false,
don't take the time to stop
you see how many of us on the face of a clock"
hmm, the clock in the temple of the ancients?
12 chanters...
It's either what Weimar said, or you are talking about the Sephiroth 'clones' you find in Nibelheim before the Jenova Reunion.
If he means the Sephiroth clones, he's wrong, since there are more than twelve of them.
I'm gonna take a wild stab and say the Ancients in the Templa of Ancients....?
Well I know there are more than twelve but come on...... and the rest of the riddle was correct plus i was counting the ones before Red XIII
OK ForestOwl your up
When you are spending the night in the Gold Saucer (moments before the date), someone says, "So, there are at least 13." I would have cut the clock thing from the riddle, then. Other than that major flaw, the rest of the riddle was good.
A calm breeze prevails,
Carrying our voices away,
From below we hear a sigh,
Eminating from the angry forge
Where swords and shields are made,
One to attack, the other to defend.
To stand here, listening to the trobbing heartbeat of nature,
Is enough to make even to toughest of hearts sing "Hallelujah"
What is the riddle talking about?
Hmmm, Cosmo Canyon?
I don't remember a place in FFVII that makes swords and shields. There's a dude in the underworld of FFIV that makes a sword, though. Too bad this is about FFVII, though, so I'm stuck.
Another reason I'm stuck is I count 8 lines. Can anyone think of something with 8 elements to it?
