I completly concur. I got one nomination, but it was automatic, so I don't count it...I was gone for 3 months, and I don't think my absence was particullarly noticed. Likewise, everybody I notice, and nominate, etc., are all people who have really big, distincitve personalities...that's just the way it is on a site as big as this...you have to do something; a lot, to be noticed.

I try to nominate people from the FF boards that don't get noticed as much, but there are only so many awards. I'll notice anyone who posts a lot, whether for good or for bad. You don't have to have a gimmick to get noticed here, maybe by some but not by me, but you do have to post more than once every three months, Mr. bennator0! And White Raven, what the hell are you talking about? You resorted to the cheapest gimmick there ever was....

I think all of us who did get nominated are happy that we got nominated. Especially us semi newbies who have only been here for a couple of months.
