"Tie-dus" or "Tee-dus"?

ITS TEE-DIS!!!!

I thought it was Tie(tye)dus but when I heard Tidus voice actor say it as Teedus on a bonus DVD with the game, i was a bit shocked. o well. I just pronounce it whichever way it comes out you know. It maybe 'Teedus' but whichever way you look at it, it doesnt really bother me that much. Its like this shop called 'Primark' but different people pronounce it different ways. I prefer 'Pryemark' not 'Preemark'. lol

"Tee-dus" makes him sound gayer than he already is. :p

In Japanese, his name is written as 'Tee-dus', and the few times his name is spoken, it's pronounced that way as well. I just happen to think 'Tie-dus' sounds a lot better. And it doesn't make me so goddamn thirsty either.

Ok peeps lets not have war over this. The writers 'prefered' it to be 'Teedus' but most fans prefer it to be 'Tiedus'. Simple as.

I've always thought of it as teedus. And since it was pronounced that way on KH, I would assume it was meant to be teedus. They wouldn't use the track if the name was said wrong.

Maybe there are other names IRL that are said Tiedus/Tydus but I guess it's a different name? :greenie:

I called him Tie-dus at the start until i was corrected... i think it was corrected until now anyway:confused:
