If my pitching wasn't so shaky, I'd feel much more secure about my position. Beckett getting pounded is not exactly confidence making.
Take care all.

So. This looks familiar. Should I start focusing on football now or is somebody going to challenge me?
hah yea. my pitching is lining up to carry me higher though. and maybe Vlad will start hitting again.
I don't understand how David Ortiz is managing to put up great numbers despite hitting .260. I guess he really is Mr. Clutch, only hits when he needs to.
last year he hit over .300 but killed me with the putouts. Ortiz is so awesome though. Better than Teixeira for sure.
Haha, poor Fresno. He was so happy when Pujols got hurt, but he's back now and still leads the league in HR.
Har har har. Shaddap.
Once I get someone who can hit .300, watch your back.
it has been my experience that batting average is ridiculously hard to bring up late in the season.
Even if I can approach the middle of the pack, that will be significant.

Just when my pitching looks like it's on an upswing, Huston Street implodes.
Wow, I have two Pirates in my current lineup. Something's wrong with that.
Take care all.
on the same day brad lidge gives up a grand slam and esteban freaking loaiza pitches a complete game on my bench. and i get four hits total.
Missing out on a CG is the least of your worries if you have Loazia on your roster at all.
