Aww, I miss squat toilets and cherry blossoms. Also, the park in Ueno is quite nice.. did you go to the Tokyo National Museum there?
oh oh oh, and did you go to the Ghibli Museum?

I'm jealous of your trip to Ueno Park. We went hoping to see the cherry blossoms but it was a cold winter and they bloomed a week after our trip. :(

Most of the blossoms had already fallen off, so it wasn't too impressive. I suppose I was satisfied though.
We didn't go to any museums, not even Ghibli's, which was a bit sad, but our trip was already full and it was a bit too far out of the way. Ghibli Museum and Sanrio land are on my to do list for next time.
