I recommend an animated gif of a guy on a skate/snow/surfboard, because that's COOL and X-TREME and then everyone will know what a COOL and X-TREME kind of guy you are. It simply cannot fail.

I actually found the avatar finalists to be pretty ho-hum. None of them really stood out as a really good avatar. It's been quite some time since I saw an avatar that I thought was awesome. RSL's current avatar rocks, and there was this avatar that Zello used a while back that I really liked, too. chocobo7.gif isn't bad either.

Also, I would vote for the Neurotic sig over Shlup's sig, if the Ciddies were on right now. But that's because I'm heavily bias towards bitterfilms. Actually, maybe I'd go for my own one.
