It's indeed a "floaty underwater theme," and it was certainly intended to be reminiscent of Maridia's music, but it's by no means a remix or a remake or anything like that.Quote:

Gah, I always get Maridia and Brinstar mixed up, how embarassing.
I remember because Maridia is like "marine" and Brinstar is like "this area was in Metroid and there was no water in Metroid."
I meant the music of them.
Actually getting the areas mixed up, no chance.
That's no big deal, then. I did the same thing when I first entered Lower Torvus: there was water all around, and it was obviously Super Metroid music, and that Brinstar song does kind of sound like that Maridia song, so it took me a few seconds to realize it wasn't.
Torvus Bog and Lower Torvus have the purtiest music in the whole of Metroid Prime 2 though.
Intoxicating, but then Brinstar always was too.
Yeah, all that fanfare and title screen stuff wasn't really what I was takling about Kishi... just main music remixes of songs that were originally main music. But then, I also didn't have that extensive knowledge of the song titles and relations. You truly are a Metroid conisseur (sp?).
Err, psst, any chance of pointing me in the direction of Metroid Prime and Prime 2 music downloads?
Go to metroidonline.com. On the left it says "Music Menu" Press it and click which game you would like to download music from.
Ta' very much.
Your welcome, I've downloaded from that site many times.
Also the Metroid Database. If anything, it's much easier on the eyes than Metroid Online.
Wow, I've been to that place before, but I didn't know it had music. Thanks, Kawaii
Wow, this Metroid Online place sure makes getting Metroid music easy and fast :D Any tracks you'd recommend? I've only grabbed some favorites so far, from the Prime games.
