It's in space, the Star Wars theme is playing and people's names keep appearing on the screen like "JJ Abrams". tbh I thought it was a bit odd and so far removed from the rest of the movie but I guess it made for a nice twist.

I know it's a weird thing to be happy about, but just learning that Doug Walker started off his internet show in his room at his parents' house make me... not hate my living situation as much as I used to.

And I speak as someone who's largely indifferent towards the Laugh.

I'm a stand-up comedian now and I feel good about it. I'm in talks for getting booked on some local shows and podcasts coming in the new year and am excited to see where it goes. I'm seeing another local comedian/producer who is wonderful and our lives were both exponentially improved by seeing Star Wars last night. I changed my name and am generally happy and excited about life.

Today I was told my voice is unique and it made me :blush:

I went to a show today that was great, and was offered a really good job out of 25 people that I'll almost certainly turn down because it's so long term and permanent l, but it's nice to know I'm still the shizzle in interviews, 100% record stands!

Yeah I think I got spoiled on Instagram from some random person. :(

Retail therapy today. I took advantage of these christmas sales and got two dresses! Also a cute super cheap purse. Yay!

Got to see my nephew today after not seeing him for a year or so. He was surprised I had a YouTube channel, so him and my brother got to watch my RPG Maker video. Made them laugh, which made me feel good. Also got to see him fail hard at an online shooter. Never take a knife to a gun fight? You can when the other person playing the game can't shoot for trout!

I watched a rocket make a historic landing after delivering 11 satellites to orbit! In the long list of things that we need to be able to do to put humans on Mars, this was a really important box to tick.

I'm pretty happy today. Its been a productive morning.

I'm quite active on Linkedin due to my last employer being within eCommerce, and I have alot of contacts here in Manchester and the Group Director of IT of one of the leading UK retailers viewed my profile (who I know personally, my last company sponser him when he does conferences) so I asked him if he'd recommend I work with them; he agreed to my CV this morning and he would "take it from there".

Fingers crossed, aye!

I have fans. Like actually legitimate people I don't know, who like me... this is... weird.
