Is it when you are with cyan in Doma Castle and you sleep at that "inn" place and then the 3 demon stooges come and take Cyan away?

As I read the riddle you only gave half of the answer.

NOTE that it says 3 against 3 which is the stooges but it is also by saying 3 against 2 referring to the battle with wrexsoul and sending his DANG henchlings into the abyss.

It could also be talking about how you must kill off one party member in order to do Wrexsoul any harm once he occupies your body. thus 3 vs 3 turns into a 3 vs 2.

Llanowar is right! its the 3 Stooges and the Wrexsoul battle. Its "send them to the zone" because all you have to do is to use X-Zone and you will win
