I have actually chewed off one of my own arms in sheer frustration at this game... yet I am still able to play.

One of us... one of us... one of us....
OT: Cave Story for the 3ds. I have it on steam, but by god does this game work perfectly on the DS. It's perfect for short bursts of gameplay and walking around, and im already nearing the "final" boss fights on normal mode prior to hell after like 5 hours of gameplay.
I also started a hard mode run... oh boy. This is interesting.
I'm enjoying it a HELL of a lot more than my lunatic+ run of FE: Awakening though. This is purely execution based, no luck involved at all, and since the controls in cave story are super tight it makes for a very exciting time. Now, I am just in grasslands though... so we'll see how I feel once this game actually gets difficult in the next level.
Played through an entire game of Victoria II which is kind of an accomplishment for me because I usually end up with ADD halfway through. I had an absolutely horrifying Europe by the time I was done.
I mean really, it was awful. The purple dong shape is Slovakia.
I have since moved on to Europa Universalis IV (as Naples) and SMAC (as Best Faction, aka University)
Took a small break from cave story hard mode after getting stuck at Monster X (screw that guy).
Picked up Mega Man 2 on the 3ds E-Shop and this game is brutalizing me. I'll be sure to return the favor in due time.
Also, I picked up Persona 3 FES on amazon. I hope it comes in by this weekend. I am so pumped to play this game.
Nothing until Thursday, then Lightning Returns and afterwards Final Fantasy X-2 HD.
Eternal Darkness and Final Fantasy II.
Europa Universalis IV. As the Aztecs. Gonna destroy all the other natives and then destroy the Europeans. :plotting: This despite my major tech disadvantage!
SFII. No, not Street Fighter II. Shining Force II! Why would you think Street Fighter? Are you an idiot!? GET AWAY FROM ME!!!
Metro: Last Light.
Single barrel shotgun with a silencer? Don't mind if I do.
I am currently in the process of stalling on installing Amnesia: The Dark Descent for the PC.
Edit: I just remembered I already had it installed. Haha, silly me. *makes a run for it*
I'm flitting between GTA V, The Last of Us and Metal Gear Solid 2 HD on my Vita.
The latter is getting the most playtime at the minute. Raiden isn't quite as irritating as I remember when I had my PS2. Although, the voice acting in GTA and TLOU is light years ahead of MGS2. It just sounds really cheesy now (except David Hayter).
not doing much at the moment :l spend most of my gameing time on The Last of Us multiplayer.
but tonight im going to train my FF7 team and have another attempt to beat Schizo.
and i have no idea what to do with XIII, im stuck at (the 1st) Barthandulus and i am not looking forward for another 15 minute battle that i wont win :l
i finished Crisis Core... now im really sad
I'm officially done with New Vegas. Lonesome Road was good. It's weird how little I seem to care about the various themes that show up in the game until I actually reflect on them. When I got to the end with Ulysses, I thought, "cool, alright, well that was a lame ending for all the exposition." But it really wasn't, in reality the whole thing was a great exploration of the themes of Fallout, the story of the Courier, and the nature of people and society.
That said, Fallout goes back on to my virtual shelf again. I feel like I've gotten as full an experience as I wanted from it until I decide to randomly explore the Mojave once more. What a great game, though - a serious slow burn that has been stuck in my head for over a year now, despite its surface similarities to FO3 (which I loved but had some serious burnout from it).
Next on the docket is Mass Effect 3. I bought it in November(ish) and have yet to play it proper. I'm disappointed there's no controller support in the PC version - wtg, EA. I also hate hate hate Origin. But I loved ME2 and am seriously excited to get back into the universe of it.
Oh, there's also FF Tactics in there, sometimes. It's as difficult as I remember it and I'm trying to get into a flow, but I'm still stuck on like the fourth battle.
Finished with Amnesia earlier than expected so I'm getting started on Mass Effect. Cmd Tori Shepard doesn't believe in makeup.
Cmd Tori Shepard looks terrible.
Persona 3 FES...
After like a day of playing im at floor 25 in the tartarus and I finished midterms.
This game... its so good. The guardians in tartarus can be a royal pain though since I dont like to grind. Every one I've beaten has been purely because they decided to not 1-2 round the MC.
Now that I am done with Lightning Returns in German Final Fantasy X-2 HD again.
DayZ Standalone and DayZ Mod!
Titanfall beta on PC XD
It's... interesting. I highly recommend checking it out for anyone interested, the minimum requirements are very low and the game is very accommodating to achieve a stable framerate above all else.
Final Fantasy XIV and Ninja Gaiden 2 Sigma!
FF7, i feel that im reaching the end :(
FF13, its on a hold right now, becaus i cant motivate myself yet to give that boss another try
Last of Us, multiplayer, it never bores me ^^
Been playing Borderlands 2. Mostly been playing as Maya and using the Cataclysm Tree. Been playing co-op alot with my roommate.
maya's the best
b2 is amazing
too bad i dont play it as much as i should
instead i started the last of us
which was heartbreaking for the first half hour
but now im just annoyed at the clicker deaths
Lots of SMITE. I just unlocked Hades, the skills are epic.
Mass Effect 3 - I remember now why I totally lost myself in the second one. The gameplay is tight, the characters are well-developed, and the worldbuilding completely resonates with me.
Continuing on with FFT. I think the game is finally clicking for me. I definitely took way too simplistic of an approach previously that made things a lot harder. I'm actually able to make progress now!
Tomb Raider is next on the agenda.
Currently playing The Last Remnant PC version of course. I missed a lot of quest and can't go back. Guess gonna finish it in my second playthrough. But it's a long way to go, I'm not even sure if I'm close to the end or not. Only one quest that made me stuck on that quest and trying to find it's requirement which is Amnesia quest.
Come morning, it shall be time for Thief.
Beat the first three levels of Tomb Raider yesterday. Holy trout a T-Rex!
Just finished The Last of Us. Damn. Great game, interesting ending and my biggest gripe is that I completed the game on Normal Mode and it says I have a whopping 5% of the achievements. Checked the list of achievements... yeah, screw that. =|
Currently playing the Origins version of Final Fantasy II. After owning Origins for something like 10 years, I finally started it about a week ago. I blew through FF1 and enjoyed it for the most part. I'm not sure why it took me so many attempts over the years. FF2 is pretty odd, especially for the standards of the series, but I think it's interesting to play it for the perspective it grants me for the series as a whole if nothing else.
i am raising and training my 3rd pokemon party in Pokemon-X
this party does not go as smooth as the previous 2, becaus of the difference in levels
when i started with this team thhe lowest was lvl 1 and the highest lvl 50 xD
Metroid Prime. So far I see why this is considered a perfect transition from 2D to 3D.
Just finished Gone Home. Now that was excellent storytelling for a small and simple game. Really glad I played it. =]
Beyond: Two Souls.
After it sitting there in a collector's box for a good six months-year I decided to play FFXIII-2. Serah is annoying. Noel is worse.
Limbo! I am loving this game!
I have too many to play right now. Still making progress in Fallout 3, and I haven't touched FFIX in a while.
I've bought so many games from sales in the last few months and they just sit on my digital shef collecting dust.
Pokemon X
Final Fantasy II
Final Fantasy X-2
Those are the ones I'm focusing on most right now. I have some others on the back burner.
Sleep tonight, stick of truth in the morning!
I downloaded Kid Icarus: Uprising. Palutina is awesome. I've just finished Chapter 3, but I'm pretty sure I have to watch out for her more than Medusa. (SPOILER)Using pheromones to attract the boss was a good idea, but a heads up woulda been nice. Get it? Heads up! Cause the boss was a dragon's head! And it feel from the sky! Man, I'm hilarious, ya'll don't know.
The controls are hard to get used to though. When TwoBestFriends said Liam hurt his wrist playing this, I was like how? But halfway through Chapter 1 I was like oh. And does giving Palutina hearts do anything? It says it doesn't, but most of the time when a game tells you to not bother, you should bother. (SPOILER)Except for that chest in Chapter 2, that was totally a trap.
Just finished another Deus Ex: Human Revolution playthrough. What a gem.
Wondering if I can squeeze in a Metal Gear Solid playthrough before Dark Souls 2 comes out next week. HYPE :greenie:
I've been traipsing through Civilizations (the one for platform) and I've found it fun but lacking in comparison to the PC version's complexity.
I've also been going through my New Game+ on Dark Souls, keeping my wits and skills in top form for Dark Souls II release on the 11th.
Been digging around and I saw a game case with a truly venerable piece of imagery on it, an unmistakable figure
Now, I know you kids and your animes, but I'm talking about 3050. I'm talking the bloody march through FedCom territory, through Combine space, I'm talking Luthien, Tukayyid, I'm talking strapping your ass into a Marauder and staring down a Clanner as you line up your PPCs with his cockpit. I'm talkin' bout my Mechwarrior collection. Add in Mechwarrior online and you got my schedule for the next few months.
Hearthstone.
Replaying Pokemon Gold. Not even the remake - the original. Having a blast! I have always had a soft spot for second gen. I love the way you can go back to Kanto and re-beat all the gyms from the original game.
http://www.freesmileys.org/emoticons...okemon-001.gif
Just got started on Ico. It's a little slow, but we shall see if it gets good.
PC - Dota 2
PS4 - Call of Duty: Ghosts Multiplayer & Extinction
Vita - Gravity Rush, Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed & Little Big Planet Vita
Pikmin 3! Those cute little bastards are hogging my sleep hours...
Oh, it does. One of those totally immersive games with little context. The mysterious feeling is palpable and stays with you from the beginning to the end. Graphics still look beautiful and it was released very early in the PS2's lifetime. A truly unique experience, enjoy.
Started Persona 4 Golden. I'm about to start the Kanji arc. So far I am loving it. It fixes two things I didn't like the first time around: you can pick what skills to inherit, saving a lot of time and, more importantly, you can rearrange your skills. I also like how the costumes are in a completely different slot from the rest of the equipment.
Still going with Ingress - despite the mounting costs of petrol, extra mobile data and countless beers with teammates.
Also, Antichamber for the first time. I have no idea what I'm doing.
Bayonetta. I just munched on a heavenly divine beast with my hair.
Dark
Souls
II
Hell yes :3:
Have been spending my gaming time alternating between Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn and BioShock Infinite.
Playing Metal Gear Solid until Dark Souls 2 arrives in the mail.
Batman Arkham Origins: bought it a few months back and I've just finally got around to playing it. I'm having fun with it so far:thumbsup:.
I'm still playing Final Fantasy: 4 Heroes of Light. The final boss is extremely tough. I've already shuffled my party composition a number of times. I have to go through like 8 floors of dungeon to get to the guy every time I lose, too...
im suppose to contineu playing FF7 and FF13
but i feel like doing neither of them
at FF7 i entered the crater, after half an hour i got to a boss that easely defeats me without any savepoint :l
so now ill have to walk that whole road again without guarantee of succes!
same goes for FF13 .. im at a bossfight and bosses in FF13 sometimes take so much time..
so ill be fighting half an hour, only to be killed in the end :l
Just finished Final Fantasy 8. Still missed a lot of items and some quests I guess. Really want to play other Final Fantasy games :(
Finally finished 4 Heroes of Light. Starting up Bravely Default now. This game has gorgeous graphics.
Atelier Escha and Logy.
The Longest Journey. Currently looking for Cortez in Metro City. Fiona is awesome!
Dark Souls 2 and nothing else. BRING IT
Beat my first run at metal gear ground zeroes on ps4 last night it was pretty dope!
Played a little bit of Tales of Xillia last night. Might have to try and polish that off. Also dabbling in Mount & Blade: Warband again with the new update to the Clash of Kings mod, and Football Manager is always there, lurking. I bought a couple new games in one of those indiegala sales so I have those to play through too.
Infamous Second Son :D
The gameplay is pure bliss and the acting is surprisingly superb. Between this and Metal Gear in the same week, along with all the free indie titles on PS+, the PS4 is totally hitting its stride right now
I wish I had more time to play, but I too am playing through Second Son!
I can clear out districts pretty fast though, I have 3-4 cleared, Rank 3 Good Karma, and a lot of upgrades already. :p
Final Fantasy X HD Remaster on the PS3.
My plan to play X-2 first shattered when I started X along with a friend of mine who's never played it. Oh well.
I finished Gravity Rush for PS Vita and it was great - totally unique and charming. My only complaint is they didn't use the gravity shifting for platforming enough, most of the time it was just used to fly like a super hero. But it was a very classy game and they nailed the Studio Ghibli aesthetic. I like how a lot of these Vita games make full use of the system and all its inputs, its reminiscent of early DS titles although more subtle and perhaps a bit more successful.
Sleeping Dogs. It's really good. Really. I'm surprised at how good it is. The side mission and other stuff are all well-designed and don't get boring, which is quite the novelty in open world games.
Also dabbling in AC4, which has the greatest feature in any game I've ever seen: a fully customisable HUD. THANK YOU, UBISOFT.
Ys: The Oath in Felghana
Just started tonight and I must say... It's really fun.
I'm at the first boss and its hard, but its really enjoyable and there's no downtime in between attempts which keeps it fun and not frustrating.
Also, the music kicks all sorts of ass. Really liking this so far and I only just started. It feels like a less clunky version of Star Ocean 2 with better writing and that is a very nice vibe to be getting.
Finally spent a chunk of time playing Path of Exile and was delightfully surprised to find it's everything I hoped it would be :)
Taking a little break from FFXIV to play some Diablo 3, FFX/X-2 HD, and I just recieved my 3DS XL and Bravely Default. So I hope to play that soon too. But I barely have any time...
Playing Dragon Quest II after having recently finished DQ1. I'd like to play through a big chunk of this series in the next few weeks.
Not sure how long I'll be playing Witch and the Hundred Knight.
The story is and characters are pretty damn funny if you're into that NISA style of humor, though the combat is pretty lacking. Pretty simple and basic Action RPG, and the class/whatever it was called switching and subjobs is pretty neat, though isn't really adding enough to a pretty basic system.
And so far the lack of ability to change weapon sets without chaning each individual piece is disheartening, since you'll need to do it any time you fight an enemy resistant to the types of weapons you are using. (You equip up to five at a time, so it can get tedius changing them out.)
Arma II: Operation Arrowhead: DayZ mod Epoch
WWF Attitude is next on the agenda.
Finally got to Atelier Escha and Logy, and it's pretty damn good. The combat has taken a step forward and back from Ayesha, and the writing isn't quite as good as it so far. Mostly in that our lead characters aren't as interesting as Ayesha was, but on a whole it's a damn fine game! See how much longer till I beat this one!
Final fantasy X
and me and my bf started making a farm on minecraft.. lol
Seriously: Might and Magic X Legacy.
Not seriously: I may or may not have accidentally bought Goat Simulator.
Assassin's Creed 1
Just got Rocksmith 2014 today. Looking forward to putting some serious time into that.
Assassin's Creed III. I got done early with my review of WWF Attitude and decided to get a head start on the next game. I have but only one thing to say so far.
Q!
Goat Simulator was entertaining for 30 minutes or so. After that it really loses steam. To be fair, even the developers recommend you don't buy it.
To be expected, I suppose. It's not as if the developers gave us a false impression of what the game was going to be like. I'd love it if they could somehow turn this idea into a full-length release.
The Last of Us.
I am still playing Suikoden Tactics, it's not a bad game but I am having issues just getting into it. I think if I look up the last time I posted in here I will find out I was actually playing this game back then as well. :(
Started back playing Kid Icarus: Uprising. Still fun as hell.
I think one of my favourite parts about this game is the developers' obvious awareness that it is terrible. The selling points listed on Steam are hilarious.
Quote:
- You can be a goat
- Get points for wrecking stuff - brag to your friends that you're the alpha goat
- Steam Workshop support - make your own goats, levels, missions, game modes, and more!
- MILLIONS OF BUGS! We're only eliminating the crash-bugs, everything else is hilarious and we're keeping it
- In-game physics that spazz out all the time
- Seriously look at that goat's neck
- You can be a goat
Summer can't come soon enough then.
Yeah, what he said. I mean for god's sake, Jiro could be eaten by some form of Australian wildlife before you get your review out. Do you want that? Do you want him to be eaten by a spider before he reads your review? Because I don't want that.
Nice try! Jedi don't get eaten. Jedi die in terribly dramatic fashion or lose their hands in even more terribly dramatic ways and then get married in secret.
There is nothing in that galaxy far, far, away that can compare to the dangers of Australian wild life.
That's very true. I've watched Pewdie and Tobuscus play and it was hilarious. The unlockables are pretty outrageous too - becoming a "tall goat" is the most pointless, glitchy thing ever. There was a lot of shouting "WHY!?" and laughing uncontrollably at my screen when I found things like that.
Pewdie's stuff is hilarious. He recently uploaded a Goat Simulator mods video. They're so hilariously awful.
It runs out of content pretty quickly, but I still feel like the money I spent was well worth it for the laughs. Might have to revisit it next time I've had a few drinks to see if it becomes more hilarious for me.
Back to playing Etrian Odyssey IV. I haven't played in a few months so I forgot how to play. It's okay, I'm sure it'll come back to me while I'm exploring. Let's just open up this door and a mini-boss. Two turns in and he's poisoned, his arms are bound, and he's below 50% health. Us on the other hand, the only one who took damage was a Fortress/Dancer who is fully healed. Yup now I remember, my team is broken as smurf. The three in the back do all the work, while the two up front soak up damage. Poor (SPOILER)Logre didn't stand a chance.
I have returned to Oblivion and am doing efficient levelling (5-5-1) because I've never done it before. I actually really want to play Skyrim, but it's slightly IN CHINESE, so I had to abandon that project. :(
Cao ni ma. Pretend there are tonal indicators.
The solution I chose was the give my sister £80 and have her send the Legendary edition with all the DLC over to me from England, along with Dark Souls 2. I should check on her progress, because she may not appreciate how important it is that I finally make my Ebony Blade wielding 100% Shout reduction samurai master character. :colbert:
Yeah, get on that. You don't want her slacking off. That needs to be shipped to you immediately and delivered express.
If only I lived in a universe in which I had a computer that could play games. :(
StarCraft II Wings of Liberty is now on the agenda.
There's no recent pickups thread, so I wanted to share my robbery somewhere that seemed relevant.
https://fbcdn-sphotos-f-a.akamaihd.n...38948425_o.jpg
Last copy in stores too. Checked every other store and they still have it for $60.
well
guess i gotta check out a nearby staples
thanks!
i stilln want to get that game, but im not exactly hyped about it. so ill wait till i can get it under 20 euros
StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty
Game of Thrones Ascent.
Had to pull myself away from the latter to get more done on the former.
Killing time on Shin Megami Tensei IV until school gets out. Mostly post-game stuff like some DLC missions and completing the Compendium.
Pokemon Gold (still)
FFX (the original because I don't have a PS3)
My gaming time has been slim recently. THANKS JOB. AND WRITING. I JUST WANT TO PLAY GAMES, NOT MAKE MONEY. :nonono:
I've been playing Final Fantasy Dawn of Souls on the GBA. I started with the first one. And it's really easy, like easy easy. Easier then easy mode on Origins. Which is kind of a let down. Probably going to play Lunar: Silver Star Harmony or Trails in the Sky after I beat this. I've been neglecting my original PSP.
Sadly you need the moneys for the games.
Vagrant Story and it's awesome.
Final Fantasy VII.
I finally beat Bravely Default. It was an amazingly satisfactory ending. I hope Bravely Second is just as good. ...And that it will get localized a little faster.
Still playing through 'Conception 2', though I should have beaten the damn thing by now had it now been for my two weeks straight of work.
Regardless, I'm nearing the end, and it's pretty great!
PixelJunk Monsters Ultimate HD and Stealth Inc. on Vita. The former is better than ever and the latter is a very polished, very fun indie stealth platformer with some killer music.
I also booted up a game of FFI Origins on Vita as well. Playing normal difficulty and made a save with F/T/WM/BM. I'm thinking of doing something slightly different, though, like a black belt, two red mages and a white mage. Idk.
Blasting through a New Game+ of Lightning Returns (going to try to kill all the Last Ones), and slowly working on my first play of Majora's Mask.
On the docket: Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy, X|X-2 HD, and Bravely Default.
I've been playing Borderlands 2 co-op with Danielle, it's quite fun, if a little slow at times. :)
A bit late to the party but me and Sophie just started on Pokemon X.
It's her first taste of a Pokemon game and we're both really enjoying it! We opted to go with Chespin to start and Sophie was chuffed when we found Pikachu. We used Farfetched to take down the first gym leader and just got Charmander from Professor Sycamore in Lumiose City. If anyone wants to trade a load of amazing pokemon to us then that would be great!
I can trade you a Shiny Gulpin if you want it. Call it a gift :D
As for me, I've just ordered Lightning Returns, so I guess I'll be playing that for now. It's the last in the series for me, so I couldn't not purchase it. I hope it's good. I'd be disappointed if it ends on a low note.
Aww man, that would be awesome, thanks! My 3DS code is 0516-8330-2725. Anyone else who wants to add me and give me awesome stuff, feel free!
Mr. Haut, we'll happily trade you our level 3 Weedle. What he lacks in hit points, strength, speed and defence he makes up for in... in err... other stuff.
I was going to play Lunar, but I got distracted by Skyrim. I was doing the Dawnguard quests, but got to the part where I needed to collect two Elder Scrolls. One was easy enough, but the other is the one from the end of the main quest. And I was still on the Horn of Jurgen Windcaller, so I started doing the main quest line again. One thing lead to another and I ended up winning the Civil War for the Imperials. Anyway I actually started the main questline and now I'm on The Throat of the World, which if I remember from the time I actually finished the main quest, that's like one or two quests away from the Elder Scroll and after I get that, back to the Dawnguard Quests.
On the bright side, all this wondering around as let Serana see a lot of what she's missed.
I always pick the Imperials. I picked the Stormcloaks once and felt like a huge asshole for (SPOILER)taking over Whiterun, especially when Jarl Bargruuf is one of the nice ones. Same with Jarl Elisif. That and Solitude is my favorite place in the game.
Recently restarted FFXII.
Also playing a little sim on the computer called The Promised Land at the moment when I need a break from writing.
I downloaded Muramasa Rebirth for my Vita cause it's Golden Week or something. I'm playing as Momohime on Chaos Difficulty and so far having a blast. The fighting is really fun and par for the course, the visuals are gorgeous and the soundtrack is awesome.
^ Yeah lots of good Vita sales right now. Wanna pick something up but I'm already going back and forth between like 4 games on the system lol.
One of which is FFI Origins. My party is Red Mage, Black Belt, Thief, and White Mage. Played the game so many times, this is a very different lineup from what I'm used to. Still playing Stealth Bastard and Pixeljunk Monsters. Also checked out Destiny of Spirits, a very unique card game that incorporates your system's location settings. It's a very innovative Vita game and is free in beta if anyone wants to check it out.
I've recently been playing a lot of NBA Jam on Fire Edition. It has the feel of the original while also being modern. The commentary is just as good as the original and the team roster is fantastic. I'm maining the democrats right now. Al Gore is op.
My new room-mates and I are all playing through various Pokemon games. I chose SoulSilver. Digging it so far. Silver was my introduction to the series so this has been a pretty nostalgic experience.
^ kinda scary how good those DS remakes were.
I just finished Tales of Symphonia and have moved on to some Saints Row 4.
Semi-competitive Melee
lots and lots of melee
Steins;Gate
Best. Protagonist. Ever.
Juggling Vagrant Story, FFX, Dark Souls 2 and Child of Light.
Hatsun Miku Project DIVA F.
Rhythm games are hard as smurf.
I'm playing FFVIII, a fashion game, and Chrono Trigger are the main ones. I've also got Spyro and Thrillville and a few others on the side
Just started up Atelier Iris 3. It's not as good as the others so far, but it is still enjoyable.
I'm playing Sailor Moon Another Story right now and it's addicting.
Started playing Child of Light. I also have FFXII still going, but that requires me to get up off my computer and go into the other room.
I finished Stealth Inc./Stealth Bastard and the main island in PixelJunk Monsters. Will probably continue with the bonus islands in the latter. I also tried out Velocity Ultra on Vita, seems like a really cool game!
Also been playing the new maps in Ghosts. They're pretty fun but I don't know if they're as good as the first pack.
Final Fantasy IX
It was FF10 HD remastered but I haven't played it in weeks. :tumble:
Also gave up playing games like COD Ghosts online because it isn't fun anymore. Actually gave up playing videogames for the time being am waiting for Dragon Age 3. :D
I picked up FTL again, since originally I only played it for ~30 minutes. I really like it. It's a good pick up/put down game.
Still on ME3 when I have time. I'm kinda ready for it to be over. The whole part on Tuchanka was a good piece of morally ambiguous storytelling, though.
Just picked up Bravely Default on 3DS a week ago :D I'm pretty awesome
Booted up Morrowind, messing around early in the Bloodmoon expansion. Having trouble finding quests, I guess I gotta wait for the town at Raven Rock to progress a bit.
Also playing Civilization IV Warlords expansion, the Chinese Unification scenario.
Saints Row the Third! :jess:
FFX-2 HD on my triple
I finished Infamous Second Son this weekend! It was a great ride, will likely try to complete and play on evil soon.
The Sims 3. Dammit, Psy!
The start of Bloodmoon isn't the best-paced part of the game and it can be tricky to tease out the questline at first, yeah. Just go between Raven Rock and Fort Frostmoth, you should find the quests to get things going there.
As an aside that is my favorite scenario in the entire Civ franchise. :jess:
As for what I'm currently playing:
Civ IV
Space Engineers
Crusader Kings 2
State of Decay
SimCity 4
FreeSpace 2
Man it would be great if we could get a really huge EoFF Civ IV game one day. Not sure how the multiplayer is on that front, if it's excruciatingly slow or not but it would be cool to check it out.
I've been playing Modnation Racers Road Trip and Unit 13 for Vita on my morning commutes. The former looks and plays gorgeously on the Vita's OLED screen and brings some nice innovations to the kart racer formula. The latter is kind of like a PS2.5 game, I doubt it could really stand on its own as a console shooter but it's nonetheless fun for bite sized missions on the go.
I also tried FIFA 14 on PS4 over drinks and hookah at a friend's place last night. Might only be the second or third time trying the series but it was a lot of fun for couch competition, lots of yelling and laughing. Looks pretty good on PS4 too.
Got sucked into Skyrim again. Magic-only, no weapons.
Mario kart 8 is out today!!
*foaming at the mouth*
I've been playing Tomb Raider: Legend. It's quite fun :aimsun:
Just got started on Secret of Evermore.
Pokemon X with the missus
God of War Collection - PS3
Jak and Daxter Trilogy - Vita
Final Fantasy VII
Tomb Raider - PS3
I can't settle on anything at the minute.
Also still trying to beat Endless' record in this months Super Mario Kart challenge. I can't get any closer!
Final Fantasy X HD, just finished basically everything, now I need to grind levels so I can get strong enough to grind spheres to grind more levels to kill the creations.
FTL, I'll play a run now and then, same for Binding of Isaac.
League of Legends, I've been playing a bit more of this game again. I played a lot last summer, and haven't played quite as much in the new season.
Needed something relaxing to play on the commute today so I got into some Pixeljunk Shooter on Vita. Excited to upload my save and see what how the game looks on PS4.
I started playing Path of Exile again. I really love how the game is after the beta, a lot more content.
Super Mario RPG
Since my desktop exploded and I can't play Final Fantasy XIV at the moment, I've been playing Rune Factory 4. I'm only halfway through Spring 1, so I'm not that far. I think I'm going after Forte, cause she's the coolest out of the girls. Also, she voiced by Erin Fitzgerald who was Alkaid and Chie so there's that.
too many games
I've been playing Titanfall for the Xbox One. It came along with my system as a download and I've liked it so far. I can't play it non-stop otherwise the game loses appeal FAST! I'm basically going for mainly the Achievements at this point before I move onto the next game for purchase.
Dissidia Duodecim.
I played the Destiny PS4 alpha a few days ago. The game is gorgeous but doesn't stand out too much for me. It almost like a Sci Fi Elder Scrolls game with a huge open world and little missions and dungeons for you to tackle at your leisure. I wasn't sold on the bit of multiplayer I tried, too much like Halo with the maps too big to funnel you towards the action. I suppose if you're playing with 5 teammates who really communicate it can be intense, though.
I finished Velocity Ultra on Vita and moved on Terraria, which released for free on PS+ yesterday. Time absolutely flies by playing this game, I can see getting really addicted to this one.
The Last of Us.
This game is smurfing exhausting.
A couple of days ago the unofficial Ace Attorney Investigations 2 translation time released a full beta English patch, so I've been playing this shiz of out of the game lately. Gripping stuff from the beginning, and hilarious too, as always
Tales of Destiny - I quit for some reason at the final dungeon on my first playthrough. Now I am trying to finish it from start, the voice acting is hilarious.
Infamous. Can't say I'm enjoying it, though. Maybe that will change as I play more.
Xenoblade
I've been calling Reyn, Gavin, mostly because of the accent. But then he went pushed a button and now he's officially Gavin. I just entered Prison Island and my team is me controlling Melia with Shulk and Reyn running interference.
Bravely Default
LoZ OoT 3D
Bayonetta
Metal Gear Rising
God Hand
All of these games are absolutely amazing. I don't need to say anything else.

My current commuter rotation has been Killzone Mercenary, Hot Shots Tennis, Luftrausers and Child of Light. I got the first two on a PSN sale for cheap; can't believe how amazing Killzone looks and plays on the Vita, very close to the PS3 games. Also Child of Light really grew on me. At first it's awesome then I started to doubt if the game mechanics were just fluff but the difficulty came back around and I think it's a really awesome JRPG system. I like using the touch screen for the firefly guy and the artwork is just stunning on the Vita OLED screen.
The Dota 2 International 4 starts this weekend so I'll probably be on Steam watching that and hopping into games.
Final Fantasy X HD for my PSVita.
Gran Turismo 6
Yoshi's Island and Majora's Mask
Infamous 2.
I've been in a serious retro mood, so I have mostly been playing classic Mega Man and Castlevania lately.
Whoops, didn't mean to ignore you for a week xD. You're probably passed me now, I kind of got distracted by Wind Waker HD. Anywho, Melia is really fun to play as. One thing that probably took me too long to figure out is: ALWAYS have Summon Bolt up for Ether. I thought having Summon Aqua up for Regen would be good, but it doesn't heal that much and if the enemies die before they can do enough damage then healing isn't really necessary.
I haven't played much since. Just got to the Nopon village :D
Just finished episode one of The Walking Dead.
*sees preview for episode two*
This is going to be fun[/sarcasm]
Gonna have a nice Sleeping Dogs session today. I have a hankering for some undercover beat downs.
