no because that's no where near a route to the cave. a road is a path leading to somewhere, The sleeping man was not on a route for anyone, it was impossible to get to without the buggy or furthermore, a high bred chocobo.

chocobo sage???because he gives you the info on how to breed a gold chocobo which saves you having to.kill ruby to obtain 1 from the kalm traveller(and he lives near the north crater funny enough)
