It´s a question of attitude.
I am one of the few "open minded" members(the exactly opposite of a "watever member").
I believe (through my experience on the forums) there is 1 up to 10000 members who were "open minded" about FF8 (me,bipper and Random Locker belong to this class).
Considering the interpretation of this few people don´t need to be equal
it´s not surprising I am the only one with this interpretation.
Also,my theories were not too evident nor intuitive.
This means I am wrong?Of course not.
Very few people believed the Earth was round instead of flat in Copernicus time.

Listen, we are all open-minded here. There's a difference in being close-minded and being logical. We're just being logical, based on what we know from the game. I am FAR FROM close-minded.

Yes, one time people believed the earth was flat, and now we know its round. That was when people had no idea about the solar system, and how the earth was formed. When it comes to a game that was created by humans just several years ago, we know when something is completely untrue, especially when the creators have already denied the obvious arguments like R=U.

I just do not find the hidden stories and meanings you've come up with to be logical, as there is NO proof that they are true. I'm not going to back through your threads and point out each individual point because I don't have time.

It seems that everyone else here (except Bipper) find your theories to be irrational, illogical, and have no basis on the game or storyline. Its NOT because we're not open-minded, or that we're trying to be nasty, we've just decided to decipher the game for what it is, and not all these fake situations and plots you claim to be in the background, like Julia=Ulti, and Rhino=Ellone, etc.

I don't hate what you say, it just DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE, and we have all told you how it doesn't make any sense, and that it has no basis on the game.

This game is a piece of digital equipment, created by programmers, software engineers (people similar to me, I'm an engineer myself), and not the artsy-fartsy type who sit around and try to link everything piece of silly information with some relavence to the sun and the moon. They didn't mean for anyone to get the idea that all the characters are really propagotors,or that Julia is really Ulti (or whatever it was you said). What the game presents us with, is what is actually true. The programmers of the game don't want people to think that Caraway is lying, and that he killed Julia, if the game doesn't present itself that way.

Interpret the game how you like. I don't care to look deep into the meaning of something if its doesn't even follow the storyline. I find myself sometimes wondering who Ultimecia is, because they didn't give her any background information, except that she's a sorceress many generations into the future, and therefore LOGICALLY CANNOT BE Julia, etc. Therefore, what's the point of even considering it, if it cannot be true.

Maybe you have too much time on your hands. Maybe its the little green bag. I dunno.......

I call "Whatever" because this members hate to make theories based on minor details and they don´t like to see deep into the game.Like if they don´t care.Gotcha?No offense.
And I worked with TRLE,Game Maker (5&6) and RPGMaker XP and I still don´t see my how my theories could be based on bugs?
I am not an engineer but this has nothing to do with programming but game writing.
The writer of the game is not a programmer even though he can work in a software company.

You just need to consider that Squall says "This is it.Ultimecia is here." near the master room.It always happens no matter if you kill any monster or not.He will say it even if you take the fastest path from the castle entrance to the master room(in which case you will see only one monster).
So,how will Squall know that Ultimecia is there?It could as well be a monster.
And no,the door is not opened as some of you said many months ago.

The storyline answer: because technically you've reached the end of the castle. The real answer: Because someone always asks "are you ready?" before the last boss fight. Duh.

But castles don´t have the same shape.Even though the master room is supposed to be at the highest place it didn´t happen on all castles.In some of them,the master room is at the floor (even played Super Mario RPG also from Square?).How will Squall know?

You seem to forget so easily you're playing a video game, but yeah, I'll play along. You see Squall is reliving the moment because if you payed any attention during the game you would know that Squall was Grievers reincarnation. Him and Griever are mentally connected and Griever is junctioned by Ultimecia. Squall couldnt explain it but he knew with this 6th sense that Ultimecia was in that room. In fact now that I think about it that explains why Squalls destiny is interwined with Rinoa despite them being incompatible. Because J=U and J sent Griever to protect Rinoa! Yes its all starting to make sense now....
