I still think three of us should get together and make a thorns paladin, iron maiden necromancer, and spirit of barbs druid. We can all ourselves The Three Masochiteers.
I actually want to make a summoner druid built like a glass cannon. Tons of dexterity and give him a bow. Then while my puppies hit stuff I can shoot things. I'd need a bow with special properties like a Buriza or something... Hmm.
That build is called a Dark Ranger.
It was very effective in older patches (from what I read and am told)
Many builds were effective in old patches.
How/why did the newer patches smurf so many things over? I thought patches were supposed to balance and refine particular aspects of the game, not nerf builds...
So what exactly happened? I've only been here since 1.11b.
