Yep, the Rusty Sword. The second line refers to Dark Magus Sisters, found near where you take the Rusty Sword to get Masamune, (sorry to anybody who doesn't have PAL :p).

Firenjar, you can't really expect a hint that big this early in the riddle. You'll have to guess something specific with reasoning before Devil starts giving you hints.
Nemesis? Obivous Isignia would be Mark of Conquest, apart from that I have no idea.

though hero will do no good here --> the OD mode hero gives you OD when u defeat a monster weith a high amount of hp, which obviously will be no good in this battle

though a mightier grants you nothing --> defeating penance doesn't give u a key item such as this
I can't believe that guess was right. Anyway, I'm too tired to think of anything right now, if Firenjar still remembers his riddle he can go next.
