Well, I've said everything there is that I know of concerning the Weapons and any chronological order pertaining to them. Already knew it wasn't their deaths, and apparently it isn't when they go on the offensive, what order they appear in when they come out of the crater, or the order of when you can fight them, or what order they attack in the game. I think it's weapons, armor and accessories. Each number represting the amout of different kinds that are obtainable for that place.
For example: Icicle Inn has 650 then you might have to separate the digits: 6 - 5 - 0 , then maybe the 6 represents weapons, 5 armors, and 0 accesories. Not sure it's right, and have no idea which number represents what if it is right.
Anyway that's my guess!

I think that the numbers refer to the amount of materia a weapon or armor can carry... but I can't think of a good guess..... yet....

The only one who can get a weapon in Gold Saucer except Aeris is Cid, from what I know. I'll say Cid's weapons, sorry I can't give more reasoning. Well, I guess my last post's rambling could be called reasoning.
What about THE Weapons? Could it possibly be the Weapons(monster) From what I recall, Ultimate Weapon goes to Cosmo Canyon, but it has nothing to do with the Cave. Ruby shows up around the Gold Saucer. But as for Wutai or Gongaga, I'm at a loss.
Also, they don't commonly show up in shops. :)
