I've just had a cup of tea so far this morning. Last night Pheesh made us a lovely prawn salad - but we were both still quite hungry later on in the night! It's definitely time to be having big hearty meals when the weather is this cold!

I've done a meal plan for this week for what I'll be cooking us both! Got quesadillas, a garlic linguine dish, and a dahl! I've never made a dahl before so I'm super excited as it's one of my favs! :) Yummy yummy in my tummy! :D
I had a hotdog for the first time in years. I'm still hungry, though...
Mother-smurfing toast
Donuts.
Mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, meatloaf.
Chocolate cookie pie with creme.
Last night I made us some charcoal BBQ chicken with garlic green beans

Cap'n Crunch.
Donuts.
Fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, mac and cheese.
Made chicken tacos from a store bought rotisserie chicken.
I had green beans....fried chicken....not that anyone cares. :D
I made a potato and chorizo frittata the other night. It's something I cook a lot, super yummy and easy to make.

^ I guess you use Spanish chorizo huh? That comes in the sliceable links?
That's literally -all- anyone ever has here in NYC. I cannot ever find Mexican chorizo ever and it drives me insane 'cuz one of my fav breakfasts is chorizo and scrambled egg tacos. :(
Anywho! I had a bowl of potato soup for breakfast this morning. Was yummy.
Keep forgetting to post in here until I look through my SD card. Anyway, the meals I had over the last couple days;
Tara made some crazy good lamb pitas. She'd have to tell you exactly what was in them, all I know was they were packed full of delicious.

I made a wild mushroom risotto. I've made a variety of risottos before but this one was by FAR the best, definitely the recipe I'll be using from now on.

And lastly I made some tangy gem potatoes tossed with smoked salmon. I was really unsure of this one but it looked interesting so I decided to try it out, and I'm glad I did. This dish was really (and I mean, really) easy to make, and tasted great. Probably wouldn't ever cook it as a main again, but as an accompaniment/side to a dinner it would be great.

Going to Red Lobster for lunch.
Kinda sad. There's a place on the water with outdoor seating I'm dying to try.
I made quinoa-stuffed bell peppers for dinner tonight, they turned out amazing. Unfortunately, the recipe can't really be scaled down well, so I made six of them. Hopefully they reheat well, taking one to work tomorrow for lunch.
^ They do!
I made fried chicken, brussels sprouts (they were the frozen kind. In butter. lol That's bad), and these like Southwestern skillet potatoes.
I diced up a couple of russet potatoes and threw them in a skillet with some chopped red onion, serrano pepper, cumin, garlic salt, pepper and satueed them until the potatoes were crispy. Squeezed some ketchup on top. My bf loved them :D
