Evrae Altana.
It's already been guessed.
sorry BG, but i couldn't be bothered walking :D
repost:
In ancient times over land and sea,
A group of people worshipped me;
Many feared, many did repent
I was given the name Slayer of Serpents
In a more Spirated time, I've lost my light
My prowess, my speed, and even my fight
Flames and bolts will pierce right through
Before I can even attack you.
hints:
- the first stanza doesn't refer to ffx
- it is a monster
still have no idea tho :(
It may be something that goes down really easily. Yu-Yevon and Evrae have already been said, so second form of Gui? (where Seymour is playable).
I think it's Garm...
What a beechnut, of course, it means Spira-ted!
Right, Spirated was not a typo. None of the answers so far... keep on guessing!
HintThe first stanza refers to an ancient diety. This should be an immense help.
Shiva >=D
I think it's the boss you fight by the kilika Temple.I forgot it's nam though. sorry.
Fallen Monk
Is it Ahriman?
Ahriman is (I think) the death god in (again, I think) Ancient Zoroastrianism.
In ancient times over land and sea,
A group of people worshipped me;
Many feared, many did repent,
I was given the name Slayer of Serpents - I'm assuming this refers to the deity as it is in the religion, if it is indeed the death god, i can understand why they would fear it.
In a more spirited time, I've lost my light
My prowess, my speed, and even my fight
Flames and bolts will pierce right through
Before I can even attack you. - Being a floating-eye enemy, it is certainly not an impressive fight in FFX, although I can't entireley explain the 'Flames and Bolts' part.
Still wrong... Ahriman is some Zorastrian god, but that's not the religion I'm referring to.
