Soooooooooooooo, Birmingham eh? The windy city of the Midlands, the old west, hell the New Street. Over the last few days I've seen a good chunk of it all as part of the EoFF UK Meetup 2007, it's been great fun! Lets start off with Friday shall we? Friday me and my other-half (that's Miles for those who hadn't figured :p) hit Manchester station and did a quick search for the train to Birmingham New Street, eventually we found it and raided it. During the raid the train set off and we were carried from Manchester to Birmingham in a very uneventful train journey.

Eventually we arrived at B'ham New Street station where we attempted to ring Steve (IceGlow), however his phone was useless and just sent us straight to answerphone, eventually we found them and discovered they were waiting for a hero of undead proportions. Knowing this a poster was created advertising for a new hero to join our armies of the geeky secretness and it was placed by the payphones. Thinking back we should have added Loony BoB's home number to the bottom saying, 'In Desperate need? Call xxx-xxxxx-xxx', oh well, next time eh? So after the poster and leading my fox round by his collar for a bit to freak out a little girl who wanted to 'pull his tail off' we met up with a few others and headed off towards the hotel. At the enterance we were accosted by a Big issue seller who claimed to be a member of the US Army and from the 'Americas'? We ended up taking him in as one of our own, you know, for the sake of Undeadheroes everywhere.

After we finally got everyone together (Myself, Miles, Zorander, Jack, IceGlow, Armyritusitustitus, Pie and theundeadhero) we had a dos about, play on the Playstation and just general naps before heading out to take Pizza Hut by storm, and by storm, I do of course mean be forced to wait 20 mins and be given free drinks. From here my memory gets a little hazy, i remember drinking 7 glasses of pepsi, bouncing off the roof and eating pizza, also we abused the waitriss for pens and napkins to draw on and discussed forums, sex and something called Final Fantasy I think. Then after that we went back to the hotel. Me and Miles split off and watched the Simpsons and fell asleep while the rest went and got rather drunk at the local weatherspoons. Then when they had finished they burst into our room and Zorander tied himself up and showed us videoes, it was scary I say, SCARY :O

So that was day one, twas great fun!

Post EoFF 2007 Meetup.....OMG What a weekend. Agrias I'll get around to my kidnapping by the guys later, first of all Thanks to EVERY one who came you were freaking awesome and lets do this again next year. After repeatedly making jokes about The Undead Hero not being where he was meant to be thus meaning we spent around 5 hours waiting for each other....sucked being on my own. "In a battle should you have a communication failure? You go to the objective and wait for the pickup you don't go wandering off on your frigging own!" Kind of comments made there to him. I blew £20 on my phone whilst bored phoning various people, this included badge and shauna. I tried to phone Xander but she was cruel and ignored me.

We got to the hotel and I spied this strange short guy looking at us, thinking of course he wondered what kind of wierd strange orgy we were planning with about 4 guys and a single girl at this point I had to stop and ask "would you be the undead hero?" He tried and failed miserably to put on an english accent as he replied "I might be." So after me telling him to "STFU and say hi" we went to pick our rooms. We were reunited with room 323 which was one of the rooms from last year aside from that the other 2 rooms were situated on the 4th floor. Me and Amy made our claim on room 323 as we figured it would be cool. We also called Hero for our roomie that way we knew no one was going to get raped.

The friday night in the pub was the emo pimp night for me I went with a trilby hat it was a good night in all though Jack the dirty lil boy had a friend come see us too. He proceeded to take her to the other "sharing room", we had a double bed room for Miles and Loki along with 2 tripple rooms for us. What happened in there exactly wasn't disclosed apart from his insistence that he did not have sex with her yet it did result in me biting the pillow laughing my ass off as I choked back tears of laughter after phoning him to ask just how long it would take, (he had sounded very desperate and rushed on the phone.) Eventually we managed to send Pie (psi we named him pie because there can be only one!) to bed and Zorrander with him. This is when me and Amra spent most of the night lying there in bed next to each other talking about stuff in whispers.

Saturday we met up with Badge who took forever to find as she disappeared on us and we found a lost looking Psy as we were out looking (this was just me and loki since everyone else was sleeping or getting dressed) We brought breakfast soon after finding them and almost got banned from the apple mac shop for posting on EoFF (mine and Baloki's posts were about a minute apart)

Sealife centre was great fun I'll post more later this is the brief synopsis of the meetup.

Saturday night chineese restaurant we were so underdressed but they treated us like royalty it was gorgeous food and cost under 100 quid for 6 of us to eat. We then went to the Sainsbury's brought a load of alcohol and some mixers and headed for room 323 where we had a PS2 set up to play singstar 80s and get wasted. Me and hero slaughtered Alice Cooper's Poison. I have to laugh. We phoned Agrias and well that cost me 20 quid but well worth it if you miss the next meetup now Agrias you know what you're missing out on.

Today we were thinking of being mellow but thats not our style tearing around to the statue of mighty Leeza we did take many photos and some video footage. After half our company left us to go home, Jack, Pie, Hero and myself the last few left went to a proper english pub to get beers in we deserved them. After a beer Jack left us and the remaining 3 decided we would do a video similar to Agrias's tunnel video where we walked down a tunnel and recorded us talking general crap about tunnels and random people we did ofcourse use the phrase "TUNNEL BABY!!!" Twice.

I eventually parted ways with Hero about 5 minutes after Pie had gone to the platform. Telling him I would definitely put him on my msn and speak to him when he got back to germany. I then made the solo journey home.


This was a brief description of events I don't have time to write it all out now it would take forever so I will put this here and add to it.

It's a good job I didn't stay. When I woke up I'd lost my voice (and it still aint come back) and I am sore in numerous places. I expect compensation cheques to be in the post.

They might send them to your doppelgänger by accident. Make sure that doesn't happen.

Sounds like you all had fun. :D I will be trying to go next year, but we'll see what happens. :P
