It might not happen today, it might not happen in the Euros, but it'll happen again when England show solid promise. They might have done well in qualifiers but from what I hear, the performances themselves haven't been terribly convincing. But we'll have to wait until the Euros before we can really know, I guess!
But c'mon. If it's not football, it's cricket. If it's not cricket, it's rugby. If it's not rugby, it's football. England demand an inquiry about not being the best! And if they are the best, they'll shout about it and then start an inquiry into how best to cut down their tall poppies.
Being a New Zealander, I can sympathise. :shobon: When NZ lost a rugby game it wasn't much different. Well, okay, we're #1 ranked in the world so it's always an upset, but still. I guess NZ losing in the cricket is probably closer to England with football.
