Had a job offer today to start next week. I'm still waiting on a few details concerning wages etc, but this could be a fun job for me and will at least be something to tide me over into the New Year while I continue to hunt for something more permanent!

Just had a student ask me to write him a letter of recommendation for the honors program. Such a humbling experience.
Just been invited for an interview with a company I really want to work with - doing all the things I want to make a career out of.
Of course this happens when I've just accepted another job, but such is life! Can only go and see what happens right? :)
Had a great time playing Smash Bros. with my older brother and sister. :)
That's great to hear! Man I wish my parents weren't so aversive to video games; mainly my father. Also I wish my siblings played games with me. They used to, but not anymore. My father said games are a waste of time. There is a bunch of reasons why games are great, even psychologically.

So happy! It was a rough semester and my first semester taking 4 courses instead of just 3. Thankfully, I get to keep my 4.0 for another semester!
It's snowing outside! It never snows where I'm at, so I'm excited. :)
The course I took yesterday to recertify myself to work in H2S gas situations I scored 100% on the test. Allowed to go back to work again now.
Today was my last day at work, and I got some lovely leaving gifts. I got some nice Harry Potter related stuff - it was good to have them acknowledge the things I like! I am sad to go, but I'm on to my bigger better job on Monday.

Spent the day in the shop doing woodworking. Built two game boards for family who requested them, and built a crib for my 3 year old neice Lucy's dollies. It was a great day.
