Overall, I really liked the tournament. I wish we could have gotten a few more people to participate but I still feel it went over pretty well. If I could do anything differently? I would have nominated Terra and probably a ton more. I figured the nominations would get overloaded so I kept mine to a minimum...
Yea it was a fun tournament. We need more participation though. But next time get better pictures for Alkaid. :p She should have easily made it past Round 1.
Oh, you have got to be kidding me. :Eek: We could have forced Agent Proto to come up with a tie-breaking mechanism, and I missed it. :laugh: Ah well, I was fully aware that my current writing regime would cut down on internet activities, but had I known that it would have cost Sheena a "hottest video game babe" contest . . . ;)
. . . Yeah, I would have behaved no differently. :erm: Overall, it is probably best that the choice between Rydia and Sheena was avoided. Really not certain how I would have voted. I am leaning toward Sheena, but it is pretty irrelevant now. Prepare, Proto, for the Vice-vote! :frust:
As for improvements in the tournament, I would definitely have liked some sort of official discussion basis (i.e. people would be required to justify their choices, and if not with the intention to "change minds", an opportunity would at least exist for individuals' choices to be "better understood"). I realize that the subject matter has a certain inherent potential for vulgarity to it, but I figure most of the membership involved is mature enough to be capable of more than copy-pasting a name and using "boobs" as their reasoning. :roll2 After all, by the end of this tournament, we will have made a conclusion (who is "the hottest babe"?), but, even if this is a completely non-serious discussion, if there is no generally-understood reason for it, what, really has been decided? :\ In any case, it was an amusing diversion, Agent Proto. ^_^ You were certainly diligent on your end of things.
Well, the only big issue (aside from KOS-MOS not making it to the final) was the fact that some of the pics provided in the early brackets were pretty bad. I know it might just have been hard to find decent pics of some characters, but... well, I guess you could make it a rule to "post a decent picture" of each babe you nominate in the nomination thread, or something. =PQuote:
