Yeah, and the Ravens are old, whereas the Niners are young and should be good for many years to come.

Nah, I couldn't care less about Ray Lewis. 49ers all the way!
First ballot hall of famer ending his career with a Super Bowl win? You can't make that trout up. It needs to happen. Also I'm absolutely biased in this regard.
Go SF!
Even Screech is excited! Though, he has a hard time finding who to root for. :P

LoL
Is it a win/win or a lose/lose for the extended Harbaugh family? Who are the parents going to root for, eh?
I don't really care who wins either; I will be happy either way. Both teams have good stories to go with their runs, and both play D, and I like to see good D. Like when SF FINALLY started playing some in the second half of that game.
Well I like Jim way more than I like John, but I think it would be such an awesome end to an awesome career for Ray Lewis.... But I also dislike Flacco... and Frank Gore and Ray Rice are both as cool as each other >_<
At least I'll finally be able to sit down, watch a match without caring who wins and hopefully just enjoy some amazing defense.
Go Niners!
I'm rooting for the niners but, I'd be happy to see Lewis go out with a SB win. The niners are a little younger but their D isn't super young. Justin Smith is getting up there in age. Moss as we all know isn't the young (angry) vibrant Randy anymore. I like and dislike players on both teams (mainly the QBs for the later) so really, I'll be happy either way a long as it's a close physical game.
It's all down to this. Two teams, both of whom have looked very good at times in the playoffs, each having a really good case for winning this game.
As a Giants fan, I want to root against the Ravens because they destroyed us in a Super Bowl a number of years back and I'm still bitter. However, I just have a funny feeling that this Ravens team has some destiny and mojo going for it. Flacco looks like a QB reborn, he beat Brady and Manning in back to back games which is still no small feat and I really like the Raven's receivers against the 49ers secondary. The 49ers best bet is their QB. If he can have another all-world game, like against the Packers, they are really tough to stop.
Give me destiny and a team riding a hot finish, like my Giants of last year.
Ravens 24 49ers 17
MVP: Ray Rice
Also, interesting question to ponder: Who is a good QB that will in this offseason proclaim that he is elite and then go out and pretty much prove it? Last year was Eli. This year was Flacco. Any guesses?
Josh Freeman? Matthew Stafford? Mark Sanchez.......sorry, couldn't resist.
Take care all.
If the Ravens win, my guess is going to be that Ray Lewis, not Rice, gets named MVP for winning before retiring. His performance against the Patriots was all right, but his playoff performance this postseason has been phenomenal for a guy in his seventeenth year. Not saying he'll deserve it, but he'll probably get it.
Cutler is a mighty good pick! I would also say Rivers in San Diego if they can find a way to upgrade their receivers. Though I am really not fans of either player AT ALL.
As for Lewis being MVP, it would certainly be the fairy tale pick, but unless the Ravens have a monster defensive game, MVP's almost always go to the offense. I don't think the 49ers will have a poor game offensively. They will be stifled a bit, and with a shaky kicker, that could prove to be a real issue too.
Take care all.
I don't think Ray Rice is going to run all over the Niners. If the Ravens win I think the MVP whoever intercepts Kaepernick the most.
