And the odd thing is that in the present, Cloud doesn't have Pre-Emptive yet. You have to get it later. Guess Shin-Ra confiscated it or something. :rolleyes2
Remember Cloud wasn't the one who fought by Sephiroth's side but Zack, so it must've been Zack that had it equipped
