When I added :pinkelephant: to the smilies I specifically made sure that it would not be on the quick list because I remember that at one point I wanted to have my :cat: on the quick list but was told that it would not be aesthetically pleasing to have something so big next to the other smilies that were so much smaller.
So, I wonder which Admin did this and I guess this also then means that I can now add :cat: to the quick list and maybe remove :p . :)

I've had smilies turned off for probably a year now. The only one that I occasionally uncheck the Disable Smilies box for is :p.

One time I went like a week where all of my posts consisted of just a solitary smiley. Shlup yelled at me.
I remember :redface: was gone for a year or two, and it was the worst one or two years of my life. Not that I use it much now, it's just that I don't know what I have until it's gone.
