Couldn't name 10 favorites but I can give a good few honourable mentions
Flimbo's Quest on the C64- 1st game I ever played & owe my love of gaming too it. Really hard shoot-em up platformer only finished it once
Street Fight 1 & 2 - If i saved all the money I spent playing them in the arcade I'd say I coulda bought a PS3 on launch day. I was 4yrs old I think when I played them 1st.
Battle Arena Toshinden - My 1st psx game, a beat em up which got lost in the shadow of Tekkan 1 & 3 terrible sequels. Truely awesome beat em up highly under rated game.
Final Fantasy VII - First RPG I ever played & loved it, I think I was 6 or 7 when I played it first & know at that I'm 19 it is still as enjoyable as the first time. Never finished it though never owned it till so had to borrow it from friends recently my mate gave up gaming said I could have it most complete it at some stage
Final Fantasy VIII - I loved this game even more than FFVII & regret only finishing it once but it was one of my favorite game stories ever in my opinion.
Metal Gear Solid 1 - 3 - Enjoyed them all alot. Solid Snake is one of my favorite gaming characters. MGS 3's ending video is my favorite end game FMV, Big Boss shedding a tear for Boss admittedly almost brought a tear to my eye.
Tekken Series - Best series of beat em up's ever period.
Devil May Cry 1 - 3 - Awesome series of games, real hardcore gaming in my opinion. Playing through DMC 3 at the moment its so bloody hard but I love it for that reason nothing worse than an easy game. One fault DMC 1 has one of the lamest endings to a game ever, the byplane scene, anyone who has played it will know what I mean.
WWE Smackdown Series - Great games in the single player & multi player Just Bring did suck pretty bad though. Haven't played the latest installment.
Backyard Wrestling - One of my favorite beat em up's it got lamb based
by reviews but its a very fun game especially with my mates & a few beers. Got let down big time by Backyard Wrestling 2 which didnt have the same fun elements as 1 focused to much on the wrestling holds, I did buy the game to make a guy tap out I bought it to throw people through burning tables!
Final Fantasy XII - Last but not least. Awesome game truely awesome dissapointing story for an FF game but one of the best PS2 games ever. I much prefered the gameplay style of XII to any of the other FF games.
