Are these so called "forums" better than chat :<

I use to enjoy IRC but now whenever I go on everyone just sort of idles or has exclusive conversations between tightly woven cliques.

Not much of a chat guy.

There are too many creepy people in #eoff. There are even people who are seemingly fine here, yet must creepify themselves for #eoff, or whatever. It’s sick. I’ve got nothing against you #eoff folk, but it’s just not for me. Not anymore.

I've not joined in any mildly interesting conversations in chat for a long time now.

The fora are much better.

Chat can be fun, but most often the conversation is about something that doesn't interest me at all. So forum is better, for me, because I can choose more freely what I want to talk about. For instance now I chose to enter this thread instead of Lekana's butt thread. :D

I like the chat sometimes but the forums are much better. The people on the forums don't make me cry as often.

I like the forums. But mainly because the chat doesn't work on my computer. I suppose I'm biased.
