I've noticed that EoFF has been slower recently. I was quite inactive for a little while because my laptop died - it's alive now, but it seems that EoFF has died instead. :(
just before i joined i used to read the threads and they did seem to have newer and faster posts in all the time:(
maybe its just the time difference:holmes:
Why do people keep posting about how things have changed? Will complaining about it change it? I think not.
Good day!
Okay... time to man-whore myself to the internet for EoFF's sake.
If there wasn't a thread at least once a month about why EoFF is dying/dead, I'd begin to worry.
The way I see it, EoFF is like SNL. It has its ups and downs. The highs are usually pretty high. The lows are usually pretty low.
It's all a staff conspiracy anyway. Every time a member gets really interesting, he either gets banned or knighted. Such people know who they are.
I don't know what SNL is (Saturday Night Live?) but yeah this is a good way of saying it.
EoFF doesn't really change; it's just the people who do. Recently we've lost a lot of the big-hitters like BoB, Kishi and RSL, so obviously the old girl is on the ropes. She'll get a nice cold sponge from her trainer, and come out fighting in the next round.
i told you its been dieing!, ive warned youuuuuu
Come to think of it, my usernotes have been slowing down... there must be a relation! Everyone post in my usernotes to save EoFF...
(PS-EoFF is better in the summer from my experience.)
Yeah, it's Saturday Night Live. As you mentioned, the changes in EoFF are more changes in its members, specifically their presence or absence. SNL is much the same. For about a decade it'll have a good cast. The best members of the cast will eventually make a career outside of SNL, leaving behind the mediocre and flat-out terrible. A rebuilding phase (which usually takes a while) follows.
Lather, rinse, repeat.
hmmm dying i hope not i just joined " hi, i'm new here " thread (hint hint) so that would suck for it to die
