Well I wasn't blown away by either film because Spider-Man 3 was just too damn long and like Dreddz said in a previous topic Spider-Man 3 had too many villians. X-Men 3 on the other hand was bland and uninteresting.

When did I say any of that was untrue. Some parts followed the original story well, but the movies story as a whole changed the comics story quite a bit. It left out a whole heap of stuff too, which Im not grateful at all for considering so much of the movie is so irelevent.
i loved both, i liked spider man 3 better though
I'm not much into superheroes, or comics in general, but X-men films are actually fun to watch. Spiderman is just stupid.
Last Stand. I mean, Spiderman 3 was a disappointment, yes, but I didn't actually feel angry or ripped off about it. Last Stand... I did. It wasn't just not up to the standard of the earlier ones, it was actually outright average. Spidey 3 was still good, just not as good as the earlier ones.
That's pretty much how I feel. X2 made me a believer in comic-movie adaptions. I had such huge expectations for X3 and everything just fell flat. There was so much lost potential. I would go as far as saying that X3 actually ruined the first two for me. Considering how much I loved the second movie, I'm going to have to vote X-Men as the worst trilogy ender.
Which is saying a lot, because I really loathe what they did with Venom.
