Yes...yes it does....:D

If Squall and Quistis got together, then all would be right in the world. 'Cause they'd make a great couple, and both would benefit from the relationship - Squall would be forced out of his shell, and he'd also have to appreciate Quistis' undeniable qualities, which would be a substantial improvement. Quistis would probably gain a little of his emotional restraint., which would serve her well. What's more, Quistis suffered in silence because of her secret feelings for so long, and it was most unfair that she never got a real chance before Rinoa came along and snared Squall by being cute and/or demanding at him a couple of times.
...Just in case it isn't obvious, I'm all in favour of Quistis and Squall as a couple.

However, if they had children - without waiting at least ten or fifteen years after the events in the game - it would be completely disastrous in every possible way. Squall's innate nature would come to the fore, and he'd back off from everyone including the kid, while Quistis would revert into a seething bundle of angst.

If Quisis had babies iwth Squall...

Hopefully Squall would kill himself. And then Rinoa would kill herself.

And then we would be free of their crappy love, and be able to enjoy the rest of this game to the full. :D
