Terra, Shadow, Celes, and Setzer are my favorites. I'm probably one of the few FFVI players that rarely uses Sabin and Edgar:cry:
locke of course. his character personality is awesome. he can use the most powerful weapons in the game and who doesnt love a good guy thief on there side?
overall most useful in the game id say sabin. bumrush owns.
My most useful is usually Locke, Sabin, Terra, Celes. Though, having Umaro, GOEGOE, Mog, and Gau all raging there thing is quite fun too. More of a gamble than Setzer.
Gogo is awesome. He can do anything. Can't really have a better character than that. Of course his magic is useless if there are no other magic users in the party. But by the time you get Gogo, at least one party member should know Ultima. Because of Gogo, economizers, and some relic that allowed me to double cast, I was able to cast Ultima six times in battle for 4 MP. Really helped at the end battles. Not that I needed it or anything.
didn't GoGo have weak-as-hell-stats. Not that they matter in this game :/
I didn't notice. So, apparently they weren't weak enough to matter.
No, not really. He had average stats, and his Mime and equip skill abilities made up for it. Like The Ceej said, he can do anything.Quote:

Cyan- Swd tech pwns(cast quick/quadra slice)
Sabin- Blitz pwns almost as much
Edgar- tools/healer
Locke- 4x mug
Shadow- As kappa! you have no idea how good it is
Relm- best magic, gembox/economizer

My party would usually consist of 4 of Sabin, Terra, Celes, Edgar, Shadow, Cyan, and on occasion, Mog. But I have used everyone in the game for my main party at least once.
Relm with ultima and gem box+economizer. With that in my party, I don't fear God.
My favorite characters is Terra, Celes, Sabin, Edgar :)
