Auto mechanic.
I don't know.
I hear Dubai is stinking rich.
My dad is a carpenter/automechanic/entrepeneur/nurse/banker/invester/cheauffer/gardener/angeler/botanist/inventor
My old man used to be in the oil business. He worked in finance for Conoco. Now he's a Vice President of Finance at Exelon, a power (as in electricity) company created by the merger of Commonwealth Edison and the Philadelphia Energy Company (PECO).
My dad is the boss of all your dads.
He owns a Sand & Gravil enterprise company. He's also an auctioneer & entrepeneur.
xD
Yeah my dad's going to be making 6 figures over there which would put him in the upper class society here, over there he's only middle class because the people there make close to the 7 figure mark.
In terms of the money I made as a retail sales person I'd be dirty scum that lived off the streets begging for money, and people like my sister who get paid by the government and live pretty well are low class people in Dubai terms.
I've never actually asked him about that, but in my own terms, everythings going to end up scarce when it comes to being a natural resource that takes a damn long time to remake, but like the oil pockets shift, which is why the rigs end up shifting as well. Like in Kansas for example, you go down one of the main high ways and there are -many- -MANY- random little oil pumps, but very few actual tanks to hold the oil, because not all of them are able to hit an oil pocket. Granted we do grab a hell of alot of oil, but due to the fact that the pockets shift at a very sporatic pace, we'll most likely be able to find another source of energy before we hit -every- oil pocket. There's been many a time that oils been found by accident of the people setting the rigs up, say they put the drill like 15 feet over from where the cordinates said to be, they hit oil and they're like "wtf" because the only reason they found it was 'cause they screwed up!
Moral is, the chances of us sucking up -every- single bit of oil before we instate a new form of energy is pretty rare, due to the fact the pockets move and regardless if there is a science to find the oil, there is -no- --exact-- science.
I don't think my dad has a job right now.
I honestly don't know, I think he's an engineer or something.
Unemployed. :/ Before that my dad was a heavy machinery operator. He can also do mechanical work as well and did that at his old job too.
Dead being. (not kidding, my dad died when I was like 3) before that he started off as a mechanic in the merchant navy where he fixed anything from bikes to tanks, he left there and went in to the mechanic business for himself, owned his own garage then he went in to managing offliscences untill he died in 88 of heart disease.
My dad owns a mechanics shop (...forgot what it's called, that place you go to get your car fixed...). My grandfather (mom's side) has a more interesting job though - he owns a seafood exporting company, so he and my grandmother can get giant lobsters and shrimp whenever they want
Sells weird planets and chemicals. He used to be a chef, though!
Just to clear up confusion: I definitely mean planets.
