Don't you know multiplication? You only get affected by lvl 5 Doom if your characters are a multiple of 5. For example, if Sabin is at level 45 and Locke is at level 43 and Doomgaze casts lv. 5 Doom, Sabin will be killed, but Locke will not get affected. Why? Because 45 is a multiple of 5. How many times does 45 goes into 5? 9 times. 9 X 5 = 45. Division works here also. 45/5 = 9. If you don't understand this, I don't know what to tell you >_>


And Doomgaze randomly appears when you fly around. May take a while or may appear right away. But just keep flying until he appears again.

Dude I know maths dont be ridiculous I just dont get it your post before... And this is interesting it is a multiplication by Lv.5 Doom...Wow it sounds great. But can you explain this: I dont remember what was Terra's level but when it casts Lv.5 Doom my all characthers were dead only Terra survives. When it casts 2nd time terra died too...What was that? Suddenly she leveled up at multiple of 5??

You sure regular Doom wasn't cast? Because that spell has a chance of either you surviving or getting killed, unlike Lv. 5 Doom.

Yeah Im sure it was Lv.5 Doom...But wait, even if that was a NORMAL Doom spell, can I block Normal Doom with Reflect???

It's improbable for a character not at a level with a multiple of 5 to be hit with Level 5 Death.

Depends on whether you mean Doom or Death. However you can make the whole argument moot (I think) by using a Safety Bit.

But yeah, your primary defense against Doomgaze is going into battle with no party members with a level that is a multiple of 5. Lv.5 Death has a 100% chance of hitting...but only if a character's level is a multiple of 5.

Eeeeh...I'm not 100% sure on that one...Doean't he usually run before it expires, though?

Nevertheless, the only 100% guarantee is Life3/Arise.

Yeah if I make a time to do this spells... Because DoomGaze speedy like a hell...

Well, Safety Bit prevents instant death attacks, so...the most important thing is to make sure as few people in your party as possible are NOT a level multiple of 5.

And don't worry. Doomgaze doesn't heal between battles. So keep at it, and you'll get him eventually.
