I love potatoes. I just had some with some stew that was left over. :drool:
When my jaw got shattered the first food I could eat again was mashed potatoes (not really mashed it was boiled untill soft then put in a BLENDER to puree it) I now can't stand lumpy mash I have to have it blendered (or make instant mash) but I do love potatoes, I almost cried when I first had them after my jaw got done...not because it hurt or anything I was just glad after 4 weeks of no solids to be able to eat something.
I'm not really a fan of potatoes. I do like FREEDOM FRIES but regular potatoes aren't really my game.
I like everything but Mash. Roasteds, New potatoes, Jackets and especially chips. I hateee mash. IT HAS NO TASTE
Stew <3 Baked <3 Mashed <3 but I'm picky about them being mashed.
Sweet potatos are ace too.

also, i like making cheesy potatoes...you cut 'em into coin shapes then bake them with a mixture of cheez wiz, flour, milk, cheddar and parmesan with a bit of garlic or garlic powder.....it's SO good...potatoes should almost always have cheese on them

But anyway, baked potato with lots of cheese and bacon is the :skull::skull::skull::skull:.

The consistancy depends on the potato in question. Some are too hard and some are too soft (I have seriously probably eaten a plate of potato every day since I was in kingergarten. It was my official snack, along with a plate of cucumbers). Lately we've had some fantastic ones.
The terrible ones taste earthy like dirt or sweet like almost spoiling, the good ones just have a nice potato flavor that the salt really brings out. Sometimes my mom cut onions with the knife she sliced the potatoes, so then they had an onion tang xD
The consistancy of a good one is somewhat like a firm almost underripe apple, but more solid. (apples waste a lot of room on water) ALMOST crunchy. As crunchy as you can get while being. . a potato. .
But that is the potato my friends.
Fried taters with mustard make a wonderful sammich.
Instant mashed potatoes comes first. Distant second is baked.
Scalloped. Oh hell yes.
If not that, then mashed. But scalloped! Oh man. Yummy.
I love potatos in all of its many forms except for raw potatos, Rubah.:p
