I love music and I don't give a crap who listens to what.
I do however get just as annoyed when people spam 'Bring me the Horizon' on their phones in public places, just as much as that 'Beatiful Girls song'.

I love metal though, mainly because of the creative/experimental instrumental quality it presents, but also because of the screaming (I can understand why some people hate it). I listen mainly to hardcore/heavy/progressive/thrash (some)/experimental/screamo/death and emocore metal (not all combined, mind you, just different sub-genres :D). I could approach a friend and say I listen to metal, but our responses would differ vastly, I know some people who listen strictly to death/doom/black metal and mention a whole bunch of bands I never listened to (or would want to).
But yeah, I'm getting off topic, just wanted to throw in my two cents and then some.
