Something in the range of five years before joining. I was much more impressed with FFInsider until they removed half of their content. Then they went to :skull::skull::skull::skull:.

I examined the forums about a day or two, then I decided to join and ask a question about FFX-2.

I lurked for about 15 minutes. Read a topic about something like Squall being his own father, and Christmas telling them they were all stupid. I was sold.

One time I freaked out Miriel because I was viewing the Who's Online list and I PMed her stating that I could see her.

I lurked three months before I built up the courage to join.

Lurkers don't creep me out. I say we make faces at them! :irked: Take that!

I was a professional lurker for 5 years!:cool:

I didn't lurk, mostly because I already knew the owner so I figured most of the people posting were like him.

I signed up the moment I viewed the forum (I actually have never seen the front site, hmmm, I should go have a look some time). I can't remember what forum I was on before hand, I think it was FF Shrine or something (this is in 2001-2002) and Shinra Online.

I think it was Eternal Fantasy that invited me all those years back.
