I buy pretty much everything online. I can't be assed to walk around town anymore. Books and games especially I get used from Amazon. I bought The Man without a Face for 1 cent on Amazon once. The shipping and handling was literally 400 times the actual price.
Like it's been said, it's just easier to browse and stuff. I hate, hate, hate going into a place like EB Games. They treat me like I have no idea what I'm talking about when I know more than them. That could be just here, I suppose.
I buy all my books online.
Sometimes I get really overzealous and buy clothes online but 50% of the time, that turns out to be a mistake, and 50% of the time it turns out to be an amazing find that I wouldn't have been able to get otherwise. Buying clothes online is very tricky.
Buying things online doesn't seem as real as buying this in person since all you're doing is clicking and adding to cart. That's why I inadvertently spend so much money online.
If I was staring at a $2000 price tag in person, I'm sure the jump to buying it would be much more of a struggle.
I may start shopping online more often. Driving from place to place can get rather pricey! (Stupid gas prices. ><)
Ever since I got to college, I've bought an awful lot of stuff online.
I use ebay, amazon, kelkoo, all sorts really depending on what i need, its easier than shopping out most of the time;) but i havent bought anything lately.
I'll make Jojee a Moogle hat in exchange for more pictures of her in pigtails!
Luckily when spending on-line, I have to think WWDS; 'what would daddy say?'
DEAL!!11 xD
PS Dreamkitty looks really cool, I'll have to browse that later. ^_^
But yep I always try to avoid buying clothes online because they may look great on the models but not so great on yourself D: It's a trap!
I buy quite a few things online. Mostly just clothes, jewelry, etc. though.
I'm still smurfing pissed at Amazon that they canceled my preorder for the Dethalbum because of something stupid like "We don't have that many Deluxe Editions".
That being said, buying things online rocks.
I buy heaps of computer parts online, and a bunch of albums from Amazon. I like Amazon because it never takes more than three or four days for them to get my stuff from America to my doorstep.
