Scott McKenzie - San Francisco (Be Sure To Wear Flowers In Your Hair)
Not cheesy at all, just a really nice tune.
Oh, and seconding Cornershop, although I think I prefer the band's own version to the Norman Cook remix. Don't know if it counts as a one hit wonder that way, but what the hell. :p
Oh yeah, I totally agree. This song is actually pretty darn great. It has that old The Mamas and the Papas sound to it, and if I'm not mistaken one of the members wrote this sone back in the day?
Anyway, someone also mentioned Baz Luhrman - (Everybody's Free) To Wear Suncreen, which is also an amazing song.
"Bittersweet Symphony" - The Verve
The Way-Fastball
Song 2-Blur
Sex and Candy-Marcy Playground
MMMBop :D
Gary Numan cars
Deee-lite groove is in the heart
blind melon no rain
Patti Smith Group Because The Night
I couldn't pick just one.

I would say Rick Astley.
He drinks a Whiskey drink, he drinks a Vodka drink
He drinks a Lager drink, he drinks a Cider drink
He sings the songs that remind him of the good times

How on earth are Blur one-hit wonders? Leaving aside whether you like them or not (and I love them), they had other successful songs.
I tried to hate it, but the lyrics were just genius.
I have absolutely no idea. Even if you were to just buy The Best of Blur album, you'd easily find several songs you'd heard before even if you weren't a Blur fan. Honestly.
I think I'm inclined to go with Edwyn Collins, for the fantastic A Girl Like You. No idea why I like it, but there you go. Would Tainted Love by Soft Cell count as a one hit wonder? If so, that. Let's not forget Turning Japanese by The Vapors. Oh, and almost wholly for the Dr. Zaius song from The Simpsons, let's add Falco's Rock Me Amadeus.
