Every single set of steps I use is so steep that taking more than one step, up or down, is dangerous. Plus I don't have the upper body strength to pull myself up with the banisters. :(

I take one step at a time. I go pretty fast. If I took any more steps at a time I'd probably trip because I'm clumsy.
I tried to kickflip an eight stair set in Jr. High and scratched up my face pretty bad.
I usually take 2 everywhere, but I might take 3 if im feeling gutsy.
As for going down it depends on how many.
I jump down as much as 8 steps.
With the help of the banister to swing me along of course, lol.
I take two steps at a time usually. Sometimes one because of my knees.
The creator of each individual stair has thought long and well to make the perfect step for us, going anything but one step at a time would just upset him.
Usually one at a time :p Although if I'm in my house in Appleton then 2. ^_^
Sometimes I see how may I can span. It's about 4-6 normally. The rest of the time 1 or 2 up and 1 down.
usally 2-3 at a time, but at my house i only need 1 step to get from top to bottom, huge jump:D
Depends on whether or not I'm lazy at that time and direction. Going down, I'll go one at a time, and jump down the last two or three. Going up, I'll skip stairs, unless there's people in front of me.
2 at a time, up and down - though down causes some erratic jumps every now and then. Unless I'm with someone. But up my own stairs I leap at them 4/5 at a time.
My Tiki is afraid of stairs. I have to carry her up and down them.
One at a time. More than that is only for tall people or for those short people who do not mind falling down every once in a while. :cat:
