I invest a good chunk of change in a couple "must have" standards and everything else, I buy cheap.
The coat was $100, but the shirt was like $15, the tights were $2 and the boots were $20. Things like coats and bras and that one "little black dress", I feel like you kinda have to spend a lot. Shirts, jeans, etc. Not so much. The last pair of jeans I bought cost $8 and I wear them all the time. :)

I agree, I just don't have a coat I actually like yet. And that coat wouldn't do because I live in Wisconsin :( I need to go out and buy a warm coat that I actually like sometime.
And I don't have a little black dress either ;_;
I've searched all my life for the perfect coat! A coat that isn't too hot but keeps me warm on those rare cold days, a coat with pockets the right size and in the right places, a coat that has just the right length, a coat with the right sized hood!

This isn't a million miles away from what I tend to look like every day, though a lot less sexy that our Keanu obviously. I've got a kind of slacker/stoner casual look. I refuse to wear suits or shirt unless under considerable duress because I look like some kind of carnival freak side show. Seriously, I just wasn't physically built to look smart.
